They could have won the game by not having Westbrook take 13 shots in the 4th. You say nobody else can score on the Thunder, but it's not like Westbrook didn't have double digit assists. What's the point of Morrow being on the floor in the 4th if he doesn't get the ball at all? I saw him open in the corner multiple times, but Westbrook took difficult shots instead. He should be trying to make some plays instead of pure scoring. It's not like he's not capable of setting up teammates

Finally somebody said it! Its so frustrating to watch a supposed "point guard" with the ball and knowing that EVERY time he has it he's thinking about scoring and only kicks it out when somebody stops his foray to the basket! That's Stephon Marbury and Steve Francis school of point guard right there.

Your PG is supposed to be your quarterback, the guy who knows what shots the other guys are comfortable taking and how to get them going, leading the brake to get layups, implementing the strategy and thinking of TEAM first.

If you're PG is going to shoot 30+ times he better be getting between 15 and 20 assists! But again that's Scott Brooks's fault all the way. He does not have a Jordan and Pippen situation on his team (two guys who could be facilitators), he has the Shaq/Kobe conundrum, two ball dominant players who are thinking score first all the way!.

Westbrook is a fantastic talent but he is NOT and will never HAVE the PG mentality. He's the quintessential SG and there is nothing wrong with what. He just has to get smarter about how to harness all the talent he has or it will never translate into championships.

Remember ISH, NBA basketball is still 5 on 5 and ultimate prize and reward is when the TEAM wins the season ending tournament. That's it. Stats are nice but are NOTHING without the ring.
