Sorry but LeBron had that expectation even when he was 22, and it wasn't because of a tattoo. It was because the media portrayed him to be the next Jordan, and his level of play was higher than anyone else in the league, aside from maybe Kobe at the time. Nobody expects you to win based on a tattoo you got. It's based on how good you are, and media perception.

If KD was on the same level, the media would be crucifying him for not having a ring right now, but they don't because his team is never really the favorite to win outside of 2012.

And KD had Harden/Westbrook/Ibaka and annihilated the west. He certainly had enough help to win a ring. His 4th option was better than LBJ's 2nd option when he was the same age.

Media perception doesn't matter. ESPN caters to casual fans like J shuttlesworth. They hype LeBron up so they can tear him down. He's A-Rod, Johnny Manziel, Yasiel Puig.... they make a lot of money off the guys personality. Same with Kobe.
