Sort of a random comparison, but who had the better career based on only Nba?For a while i thought Melo, but now i think id have to side with Manu, he has 4 titles(2 of which he was a top 20 player in the league at minimum) and was a more all around player than melo, actually passes and plays defense. I guess the argument against Manu would be his lack of durability, and inability to play heavy minutes.

Is this a joke?
Manu's career >>>>>>> Melo's career

I wouldn't call it a joke. I got both players in my top 70-80 range. I can see an argument for either one going strictly by nba.

Carmelo.

What next Joe Dumars better than Dominique Wilkins because he won titles?

I think if Melo got drafted and put in a great situation, he would have rings too. For example, if this dumbass Joe Dumars didn't pick that tall white stiff? Melo would have at least 1 ring and the Pistons would be headed in the right direction. Instead he tried to outsmart everyone and picked that scrub and Pistons became shit for a number of years. Isiah Thomas did the same to the Knicks. Piston legends as GMs :facepalm

I like Ginoblis game better though. He has always been the Spurs best passer.

If you want to compare Melo to someone, then you can compare him to Andrew Wiggins, another guy with zero rings.

Uhh, just thinking about Melo's ugly departure from Denver and forgetful seasons in NYC makes me want Manu's career - a winner on basically every level. Keep in mind they're both multi millionaires and Manu is basically a god when he goes back to Argentina. If we want to talk about 'scoring ability', and that only, sure I think Melo probably wins that argument. But Manu's career has been superb - relative to some of his national buddies like Andres Nocioni or Carlos Delfino

I said 70-80 range.

Why? Well he did take Denver to the playoffs every season he was there, led them to Wcf and is a career 25 ppg 6 rpg on decent efficiency over 12 seasons. I think 70-80 range is a fair rank. It isn' like i said top 40 or something.

You can use what ever criteria you like, and besides theres accolades besides just rings, theres also all nba teams and all star appearences which Melo wins out on. Just saying.

Not only did Manu have the better career, he's more than double the player..

The Big Two won four titles together.

Well Manu was a role player in 03 and 2014 so i don't put a ton of weight into those rings.

Title says better NBA CAREER. Melo's only accomplishments are getting the scoring title and multiple all-star selections. Gino has titles, 6th man awards, AND all-star appearences.

Therefore, Manu's career >>>> Melo's

Manu. He even has the 2004 Olympics gold medal too... Where Melo was apart of that disappointing 2004 US team.
