And in addition, what type of contract will he command in free agency?

The Knicks could take a look at him?

Big market teams obviously will. I think the Lakers will be looking at him the most.

He will probably command near max if we are using other players as a standard.

Triangle requires a point who can shoot the ball. I could outshoot Rondo, nuff said.

Lakers won't sign him, they have Clarkson already.

Thing is I can see Rondo not getting any offers aside from a few veteran minimum from contenders. He's just not a good player, he's a ball hog and he's just an unlikable little shit. He thinks he's Kobe and can get away with being an insufferable asshole but in reality Kobe has more talent in his pinky than Rondo has in his entire family tree

The Lakers would welcome Rondo with open arms. Kobe would be thrilled to finally have someone on the team again who cares about winning basketball games, not acting like a fool. Add in a homecoming for Kevin Love once the Cavs flame out in the playoffs and LeBron officially throws him under the bus, and we got something going. :pimp:

Hey, one can dream, right? Instead Jimmy Buss will probably extend Nick Young to a 10 year contract, give Jordan Hill a max deal and sign Boozer to a 4 year deal worth over $40 million. Oh, and he'll probably trade our Top-5 pick this year and Julius Randle for Brook Lopez.

:facepalm :kobe:

I would take him on the Knicks because him and Melo are boys... but not if he is a shell of himself. I hope Phil watches closely come playoff time to see if he is someone willing to sign.

This guy has never watched the playoffs, or is a Lebron stan.

No good teams will want Rondo. The vast majority of them have better Point Guards who play within the established system(s).

The Lakers or Knicks will sign him.

Hope he doesn't come to the Lakers, it's worst case scenario signing him to a max/near max deal, it would be similar to what Chicago is experiencing with Rose at the moment.

Don't think Phil will take a look at him.

My prediction is that he goes to the Sixers, somehow.

Is S&T a possibility?

Maybe the Pacers can try get him?

Rondo, George, Hibbert, West

If he wants the max, Mitch needs to say no thanks. If the Lakers can get him for a more reasonable amount, however, with the salary cap set to skyrocket, I say we do it. Gotta start somewhere, and we whiffed on Dragic.

If our starting lineup next year is:

Clarkson
Kobe
Johnson
Randle
Hill

Kobe is gonna kill someone. Literally.

Kobe would literally slap Rondo's face off his face.

More like...

Clarkson
Ellington
Matthews
Randle
Okafor

Nice young squad

Maybe, but it would be because they are both competitive. Instead of these clowns currently on the Lakers dancing around like they just won a championship after snapping a 7 game losing streak and being like 14-41.
