KD. He averaged 32 on 64 ts% last year, thats a level Gervin never reached.

Did Gervin have the same range? The 3pt line was introduced to the NBA what year? It took a long time for it to be fully utilized.

Durant is the greatest scorer in NBA history

To be the greatest at the most important skill in basketball puts him in the top 10 GOAT list already for me.

Is there any good player from yesteryear you think is better than a good player today?

He'd obviously have a different mentality if he grew up today but damn.

Yes. I think Julius Erving and Larry Bird are both SFs better than Durant...I'm just an objective poster dude.

"The three point shot is the worst shot in basketball. It's been proven over the years. <snip> So why would you want to shoot a 40% shot when you can shoot a 50 or 52% shot inside the 3pt line?"

Gotta love how the great ones get salty with age. Makes for good interviews.

Agreed.

Hell, a prime Kobe and a prime Shaq wouldn't make an NBA roster today...much less guys like a prime MJ, Bird, Magic, and Gervin.

Regardless...i'd rather kick it with Gervin during his prime than that cry baby Kevin Durant. I'd enjoy snorting up a bunch of lines with George more than comforting a cry baby who's afraid he's going to die alone.
