Thought it was alright. A bit moody and forced at times, but still interesting. It's nice that Kobe is opening himself up and letting people see the world through his eyes.

In a nutshell, accurate to the essence of Kobe himself. The player, and man. Will check out later.

Absolutely a terrible documentary.

Doesn't share any insight at all into his relationship with players (Shaq for instance I don't think his name is even mentioned one time), Phil Jackson, mentors, or anyone really.

The entire documentary is just a circle jerk for his schtick.

"I always knew I had to outwork everyone!"

as well as showing his injuries the past two years.

unless you are a fanboy you wont like it.

He doesn't talk about Jordan in the doc? I thought it was called Kobe's Muse?

Nope. The only time they show Jordan is for like 30 seconds of him scoring on Jordan in 98 and they tidbit Jordan saying something like "kobe is the future of the league".

Kobe doesn't talk about any other players at all. Like I previously posted "I always knew I had to outwork everyone". The entire documentary is just a 80 minute version of one of his nike commercials.

I dont know why people want to know about that other relationships. Stuff on that will eventually come out.

This documentary's focus was to show Kobe's human side.

I never knew Kobe had experienced so many doubts and fears.

He was just so cold blooded, you could never tell.

In the trailer for the doc he's talking about Jordan? That all got cut? Talking about how everyone in the league was like deathly afraid of him, etc.

It was pretty awesome. He even (in an indirect way) took accountability for Colorado by saying he totally messed up and it cost him dearly and hurt his family. Now that's alpha.

Also, he mentioned on the Grantland Basketball Hour that he didn't go into more detail about Phil Jackson, etc. because that would be a documentary unto itself. This was more an overview of his life and career contrasted with what he has to go through now in dealing with all of these devastating injuries and getting back on the court.

9/10...specific Jordan, Shaq, Phil segments would have been great, but I can understand why they were omitted.

Great documentary. He's basically lived the life of an autistic person, growing up in an awkward society with no friends, having one single hobby in his life, and inventing multiple personalities (black mamba) to deal with trauma. It's amazing what he's accomplished in his life.
