This is going to be like the Kobe/Divac trade. Can't believe Cavs just tossed him away.

This guy has potential to be an all time great. As of late, his confidence has sky rocketed. He's going to be exceptional at 21 years old if not tomorrow.

Confidence was all this kid was missing, and he is getting more of it every day. His daily highlights are fun to watch for sure.

The most noticeable recent change is the number of dunk attempts in the halfcourt now vs. before. He's no longer going up as soft on defenders with that double pump layup, instead he's trying to dunk it and get fouled (moreso in the game against Washington than this one). I like that attitude a lot more than making the layup harder for yourself.

Damn he took Tony Allen in the post and made him his bitch.

Finally! Someone that has the potential to pull off a 6/6 in the finals and drop 41 ppg in a finals series.

Would cleveland trade love straight up for wiggins now? Theoretical question obv.

Wolves could have won. Flip sat out Pekovic down the stretch to continue the tank. It was pretty crazy. He had Wiggins out there guarding Zach Randolph for the last 3 or 4 minutes? Pshh...make the tank less blatant, Flip. Flip is the GM as well if you guys didn't know that.

Hell no. Wiggins is flips crown jewel. He isn't giving him up short of Anthony Davis

Very smooth. I'm impressed by his post moves, even if they don't go in - that's something you usually don't see on an NBA rookie.

Imagine him 3, 4 years from now. Hell, at this rate, he will be a superstar even if he doesn't have the best handle.

He's still a terrible perimeter shooter particularly spotting up without a dribble, and take a wild guess what role he would have had to fill if he expected to fit into the bran ball system...

Kid would have never developed properly with the Cavs not with Lebron hogging wing duties.

Don't know about that, but obviously his ceiling is much higher than Rudy gay.

Just wondering, but why is Flip playing some guys such heavy minutes? It seems Rubio, Wiggins, and on occasion, Dieng are logging high 30s, sometimes low 40s minutes totals. I get that they're young, but they have other young talent that needs some run (Lavine, Payne, GR3, etc.). Is Robinson III that bad or is Flip suppressing his value this summer? I'm pretty sure he took a similar deal to KJ McDaniels.

Yeah, at first I wrote it because every GM in the league would take Wiggins over Gay because of the upside, but then I started thinking and thought pretty much every GM would take him right now, for this year only if they had the choice between Wiggins and Gay. Wiggins will run, defend, pass, do what is needed, while Gay is a ball dominant career loser who's teams get better when he leaves.

The Rudy Gay comparison is shit haters opined back in the fall when Wiggins was adjusting, and only people like retarded Cav fans (not all Cav fans, just the fanboy retard ones), Branny nutmunchers, and Noob Cake actually say it now.

Anyone who still thinks this is simply dumbing down the board and needs to be slapped.

I think Wiggins will at minimal be a Kawahi Leonard, but I tell myself that he can be better. Here are some concerns:

Ballhandling/Guard Skills: For as athletic and quick as he is, he doesn't have the superstar fluidity of a Kobe, TMac or a really young LeBron (he has more power now, still fluid). I never see him glide through the air for an acrobatic layup and he has average touch at best. He's still very coordinated and can change directions well, but his lack of a handle still limits his driving ability. He's gotten better, but to me he still looks like a SF/PF. With his standing reach and height, that's not a nail in the coffin, but if he wants to get to be a 25 ppg player, he'll have to get those skills imo. I just don't know if those are things you can learn.

Jumpshot: Solid. He has a high release point and he can get that stepback jumper anytime he wants. could be his go to move.

Mentality: I always disagreed with people who said he lacked a drive to succeed. I think his "passiveness" is actually a result of his inability to handle the ball. This prevents him from being even a Derozan level one-on-one player. He'll still be a better player imo.

Defense: good, but can be better.

What do you guys think? Can he improve his guard skills?

haha five years down the line, I could see that happening. He takes things personally, so its not far-fetched.
