NBA on NBC went through 2002 and I remember watching those Sac-LA games on NBC. OP showing his true age and lack of knowledge about the NBA on NBC. I doubt OP even watched the NBA on NBC.

One of my earliest NBA memories was having a tornado hit near my area during the 97 Finals game 6 and preventing me from watching it.

:applause: I loved hearing this on Sunday afternoons knowing great action was to ensue when that song came on during those double and triple headers. My username is the name of the NBA on NBC song.

Not only was it a great song, they would have amazing intros to set the stage for each game and make each game seem like the fate of the world depended on the outcome. Instead we now get brief, lame music videos before games. :rolleyes:
