Capitalism. Where buying a shoe that is made of plastic by a 17 year old Malaysian kid for $.80 an hour, is more important than the life of a fellow human being.

Makes me angry. It's always the poor uneducated folks who do it too.

Funny thing is his first divorce got him good. Would of been a billionaire year's ago. Kobe dodged a bullet.

If it wasn't like that we wouldn't all have iPhones, apparel like Ralph Lauren, nike/adidas/etc., diamonds and a bunch of other things.

Personally, I'm glad those poor motherf*ckers have to bust their a$$ living in extreme poverty for us to have moderate luxury that middle class life provides.

MURRICA

life is a joke doe, domestically we all make a big deal about being a good person and someone that acts out gets ripped apart by the media and the collective national soul, when in reality every single person living in a first world western nation is responsible for so many bad things that happen around the world yet everyone turns a blind eye. That is why conspiracy theorists will never get anywhere even if what they say is true, the power of ignorance knows no bounds.

Michael Jordan was able to transcend basketball. He became truly likable. People embraced him because he was a true champion. Jordan had went through the flames and came out whole again. People saw him grow up, battle through the storms of war, and reach the pantheon of greatness in his sport. For a moment in time, during the 90s, Jordan stood atop of the world. His name ringed out through the Earth. He seemed as a demi-god. A battled worn Greek warrior shaking off the embers of war and transforming into a beacon of hope for all. Looking up to the the heavens he shouted, "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!"

This is why he is a billionaire. The legend lives on.

I was a Jordan stan as a kid. However, now as an adult I kind of dislike him. He is an arrogant a$$hole. He is the GOAT but he is also a despicable human being.

Cool story and all but your English hurts my eyes. Try "MJ's net worth has reached $1b", or "MJ is now worth $1b"

Understanding his earning potential after his divorce is probably why he had no problems with this (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/rumors/post/Divorce-will-cost-Michael-Jordan-168-million?urn=nba-53560).
