Anyone here collect shoes? Gary Payton visited Korea 3 years back and gave me his Jordan PE 12's as a gift, cause I knew his brother and I actually spoke English. (I live in Korea ATM) John Wall plugged me with his Signature adidas shoes too, last year.

Haha. Well, most of them, have gone UP in value.. You'd be lucky to come up 10~20% on stocks in you invest properly, with the risk of losing money.
Most all of my shoes have went up at least 60% in value, if I liquidate them into cash, I'd have a healthy mid 5 figures. A great hobby/investment if you ask me:cheers:

I been in the shoe game for a minute, before shoes got super mainstream in 2012 because of Miley Cyrus and a bunch of celebs. I obtained most of my shoes before 2011, for less than half the price they are going for on ebay now. That's like 70% of my collection, got a bunch of PE's QS LS etc, too lazy to take pics, the rest are at my mom's house. Going to liquidate all of them later this year and buy a used Maserati lol :cheers:

I have those True Blue III's but I have not worn them yet. I know this is disagreeable to many, but I actually play in Jordans. They've suited me well for years. I've also had Hyperdunks, but both types of shoes seem to treat me well enough on-court.

I wore True Blues my senior year of high school (2002) so when they came back around a few years ago, I got all nostalgic and bought another pair. One of my friends has been offering a significant amount of cash for them, much more than I paid. I don't know whether I should part ways with them or not though.

Also came close to buying the Laney V's back in 2000. Wore Reebok Questions my sophomore year and had serious ankle issues, so I just looked for some legit-looking high tops in Eastbay. Fell in love with the V's. I preferred the color on the Laneys, but they clashed with my team colors, so I settled for the white and grey pair.

Not even. Think of it as an upgrade of collecting baseball cards and stuff. Shoes hold their value pretty well, if you buy a premium LS/QS/PE etc shoe for retail, in a few months or years, you will get your money back and THEN some even after you break em out the box.

Out of the blue, Jordans jumped crazy in value in 2012, I came home in 2013. Stocks went up like crazy. Hahahaha. I sold the Tokyos on ebay for 2.4k, in 2013 because I needed some loot, but regretting it hardcore now, they going for like 4k+ for a DS pair :facepalm :facepalm

I've also been snitched on by a Korean dude, but it was in America and I was able to flush me and my partners stash down the sewer and get all the cash out of the trap. I'm got away scott free. The dude tried to sell an O to an informant and an hour later his apartment was full of cops lol. He flipped immediately and the cops tried to get him to get us to come to his place. I'm still nervous to go back to that town though.

The moment you do anything street related, whether its the substance trade, or claiming a clique... You sign a contract... A contract with yourself and everyone, that it is YOUR actions and you must take full responsibilities for your choices you have made in life. Its like an unwritten code.. Fukk all snitches. I'm very religious though, I forgave the dudes that threw me under the bus... Gotta forgive... Whats the point of getting revenge/holding grudges? It's only myself that will be in pain. Have a case pending at the moment, some shiit popped off for some BS from last summer... Dude ratted me out for selling oxys and other stuff. Feds raided my house first week of Jan this year but found nothing... but I got a bunch of priors and I pissed dirty for weed so I gotta go see em again soon. Got all my selling charges dropped though, due to lack of evidenve. Been clean not selling amymore since last Sept, and haven't touched the reefer since January either. Finally trying to get my shiit straighr. Graduated from college last year too, too smart to be doing stuff like this anymore.
