Great performance by the Freak as always!

That 1984 squad to me is still the best team the Lakers had in that decade. They went 10 deep not counting the injured Mitch Kupchack with 6 players that could score between 20 and 30 points on any given night in Magic, Kareem, Scott, McAdoo, Wilkes and Worthy backed up by the work horses Rambis, Coop, Nater and McGee. They had some injuries and some lineup tweeks in the regular season which prevented them from really amassing an impressive record. Still to me it's a crime that they didn't beat friggin' Boston
