You know he can't wait to get involved on that side of things and compete with Bird and MJ :lol

He has already stated on multiple occasions that he has no interest in those positions. So while it's not impossible that he changes his mind, it's definitely not something that he's currently secretly yearning to do.

Kobe already said he doesn't want it. Of course that a few years away from the game could change his mind but I wouldn't bet on it.

He would be a terrible coach. He'd tell his stars to not share the ball with the role players.

No, his talent with having other top men in the league won him the championships. But on most teams that he would likely to be coaching, he won't have top heavy talent to rely on, so he'll need to develop a system that incorporates role players, and I just don't see him being good at doing that.

Anti social guy with low basketball IQ, coach material :lolI think his poor shot selection at times comes from trust issues and being a control freak. He seems like a very articulate, intelligent guy.

I agree with that, but the trust issues are likely going to carry over into being a coach.

that is not a good thing for a coach. lebron would also not be a good coach but because of the opposite reason because he would trust his players too much.

He doesn't have the patience to do either

Honestly he seems like the type of guy that will just keep to himself and his family once he retires.

Wouldn't shock me at all if he went off and did something completely unrelated to sports, business, entertainment something

Whatever it is I'm sure we'll be hearing about

kobe's already into the investment/business aspect of post basketball life. i doubt he will be any kind of caster/analysis/front office type dude. those kinds of position has way too many restrictions and kobe is a straight shooter type of dude.

I think he'll end up in a front office position in LA.

Jim Buss' kids already said that in the next coming years they are going to evaluate themselves and be honest if they realize that them running the team isn't working, and then hire someone else to do the job.

This is where Kobe comes into the picture and gets full control being who he is. It's like how Jerry West was the Lakers GM for a while and drafted Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant will be our GM and draft the next Lakers star.

I love Kobe but I highly doubt it

He has a company called Kobe Inc, and he's already heavily invested in it.

Dude networks in the offseason and when he is injured and also takes classes in Boston for business related stuff.

He has a singular focus mind, doubt he becomes a coach or anything. Would love to have him around though.

He doesn't have the temperament to coach. Didn't he say he wanted to buy a share in a football team and move back to europe?
