How do you see Houston vs Chicago?

Drexler, Barkley, Olajuwon.

They split the season series.
Olajuwon killed it in both games, in the one win he came 1 assist and 1 steal away from a 5x5.

I think this would have been a much better match up.
Drexler vs Jordan
Barkley vs Rodman
Elie vs Pippen
Olajuwon vs Longley (haha)

Bulls and Rockets was supposed to be the NBA Finals everyone wanted to see. Even Jordan himself admitted that he wanted that shit to go down.

This would have been a more interesting, more fun and more competitive series than the jazz.

both the jazz and rockets had ugly uniforms though.

more competitive?

jazz lost in 6....just 1 free throw away of stealing game 1...lost in the last seconds of game 5 & 6. that series was very close (same with 98)

I think the Rox would win. We would beat the bulls pretty easily during most of our regular season games iirc. They had no answer or any way to slow down The Dream.

Would rather have seen this series in 1994 if Jordan didn't get his father murdered over his gambling...

Seriously, Jordan going for 4 against the Dream, would have been incredible.

Nobody in nba history is probably good enough to win it all with a matt maloney and mario elie backcourt.

Yeah, Olajuwon would have had his way, but the rest of the Bulls would have tore the Rockets up.

So many storylines, it would've been amazing.

Drexler vs Jordan
Barkley vs Rodman
big 3 of Jordan/Pippen/Rodman vs Hakeem/Barkley/Drexler
Both Drexler and Barkley trying to avenge their Finals losses to Jordan and the Bulls from before
Hakeem trying to prove that him winning his 2 titles had nothing to do with Jordan being gone

It could've been one of the most if not the most compelling Finals ever.

Rockets Barkley is depressing to watch if would have watched his game in Phily and with the Suns.

True, Imagine a below average rookie pg (maloney) going up against arguably the greatest perimeter defense in history (mj, pip, harper) Would be surprised if it lasts more than 5 games.

That's what I was thinking, too.
