It has nothing to do with MCW. We've just been slumping for a while, before the all-star break too. And it's not because of no Knight either, we were scraping by with him right before the AS break too. And he's sucked **** with Phoenix so far.
MCW has actually been a pleasant surprise. Very good on defense, playing smart on offense. He's also returning from a toe injury, still feeling himself back into the game and into his new situation. On a minutes restriction as well. I thought he would be crazy inefficient, chucking constantly, but actually he's shown a lot of unselfishness, good vision, great defensive instincts, and is scoring within the flow of the offense. We're gonna need him to score more aggressively going forward but it's gonna take time..can't just expect a 2nd year player coming off an injury, in a totally new situation..to just go balls to the wall right off the bat.
All of this is just Sixer fans forcing themselves to hate MCW to make themselves feel better. Reality is he is doing just fine and is zero reason for us struggling. We're just.....struggling.

i agree it has nothing to do with MCW I for one wish the best for him. Jason Kidd has him play his game he hasnt shot any threes up until tonight. It looks like hes falling into his old habits right now this might be his worst game as a buck if he doesnt pick it up soon. With that being said you shouldnt be talking about sixers fans "forcing" themselves to hate MCW when you bashed him at every opportunity you got. One can say your "forcing" yourself to hate Brandon Knight, since he left your team started to lose games and your left with MCW a player you hated so much before he came to Mill or maybe your "forcing" yourself to now like MCW?

Clearly we can see how bad shaws affect was on the team.
But this really hurts the tank.

I never had a real problem with MCW. I was skeptical about his ability and knew he had clear weaknesses but it was pretty obvious I was embellishing in my posts just to piss off Sixer fans like GOBB and OP who constantly talk shit about the Bucks.
And I never forced myself to hate Knight, I've been picking apart his game way way before this trade. Whether he's better than MCW right now is irrelevant, because 1) Knight is not a PG at all and if we locked him into that role we'd be screwed going forward, and 2) he's commanding a lot of money this offseason and we'd be screwed overpaying for him. Also he's terrible in Phoenix right now, so it's not like we traded away James Harden or something.
Reality is the foundation of MCW's game is way better for this team. Is he a terrible shooter? Yes. But that's something you can work on. What you can't just "develop" is a point guard's mentality, which is something MCW has shown and Knight NEVER has and never will. Kidd can work with MCW's defensive potential, passing ability, and overall PG play...Knight was never going to work here, you can't magically give him court vision.

Its just funny that you use the same arguments to defend MCW that GOBB the OP and many other sixer fans used when they defended him.

....So you're pretty much agreeing with me that Sixer fans that once defended him are now forcing themselves to hate him. Ok.

Punks aren't even trying. Giannis is the only one putting in consistent effort on defense.

No one hates him we have the same opinion of him now as we did before we acknowledged his faults but also saw what he can bring to the table, you on the other-hand blindly called MCW out so many times on his faults not once acknowledged the good in his game. Now hes on your team and you view him as your future at PG......but i feel your pain bruh i used to cringe my teeth when ever he pulled up for a jumpshot in philly, dont expect that to change anytime soon.

Wish the Buck fans that defended the trade for Knight would defend the same team that has lost 3 straight.
Pathedic...
Knight was a baller , and his scoring kept the first team solvent.
And the bench play at a prim'
Now they all play like second stringers...
I would not doubt that the Bucks pull a END OF SEASON Brewer = miss playoff snub.
Lets face it buck fans the next 12 games are not easy(.)
Why not give Knight a 8 mil a year deal... HE WAS THE REAL DEAL FOR THE BUCKS:confusedshrug:

That was never gonna happen though. All Bucks fans would've loved Knight at 8 mil a year. But he's getting at least 12/year on the market, probably more. The whole reasoning behind the trade was that we didn't want to overpay for him.
And for that we got not only 1 young PG...but 2 (Ennis) and another solid backup C to help our destroyed front court.
Also, can't just put 3 new pieces on the team and make it work from day 1, gonna be a process. And Knight is struggling in PHX too, all of this stuff takes time.

This post will come to haunt you.
Knight will never get more than 8mil a year(.)
Bucks could of shored up the PG spot .
Giannis, Parker, Knight would of been a nice core.
See you next summer.
