He's a beast. He always plays amazing after the ASB. He will be the 2nd PG off the bench on a contending team (Spurs, Mavericks, Rockets) and lead them to CHIP next season. The haters continue to look ridiculous.

KungFuJoe

He's been playing well and best of all his TOs are down. He did have a bad one today trying to force it to Wes who had a smaller man on him but other than that his decision making has been great.

Finding the open man, knocking down his shots and just ripping defenses apart down the middle.

He's been playing good defense as well.

Hope he keeps it up. Dude can flat out ball when his confidence is up.

I think he can be a good 6 man and a great back up PG, just too inconsistent to be a starter

New team. Not getting along with BS. Different line ups every day. Got to him mentally.

I think the trade rumors had him nervous too.

I'm glad for him.. sad thing is the guy had the keys to the kingdom given to him by Scott and it took him 50 games into the season to start playing the way we hoped he would at the start of the season.. they guy has really stunk this season

Hope he finds a nice team next year, gets a big fat contract and lives happily ever after.. just don't do it with the Lakers

He's a solid player. His fans so want him to be a star and his haters think he's the worst PG in the NBA. Like in most cases, it's somewhere in between. And how could it not be with such parameters?

It doesn't really matter if Lin does well. Bryon Scott will make sure his team will be in top 5 in losing record so they are keep the 2015 draft pick.

"Because the Lakers traded their 2015 first-round pick to the Phoenix Suns (for Steve Nash), which has since been conveyed by the Suns to the Philadelphia 76ers, the Lakers only keep their selection if they get through the draft lottery with a top-five selection."

You realize Kobe's ballhogging selfishness was the reason for the poor start? Lin has NEVER played well off the ball with ball stoppers.

The reason the team is flowing now is because of BALL MOVEMENT and SPACING. This is not that difficult to understand.

Not to mention Lin his past 3 seasons has always had much better stats AFTER the ASB. The Kobe lovers are looking pathetic.

Melo and Kobe are absolutely terrible at making players AROUND them play better (anti LeBron's)

Harden has dramatically improved his game this season, but his 2 seasons with Lin he played zero defense and ball hogged unnecessarily. His game now though would mesh decently with Lin.

Put Lin on a team like the Mavs/Cavs and it's over.

Haters Excuses:
turnovers
can only go right
not a great perimeter shooter
not a great defender

He's been playing amazing defense and cut down on his turnovers. The fact that he reached high assist numbers with this terrible offensive team shows how amazing Lin is.

They doubled him at the end of the game.

Lakers were counting on him to be the starter as soon as Nash was confirmed out for good and this Ni99a Lin was playing like hot garbage. One or two good games in between doesn't change that. He was playing like a Rookie.

During training camp, Lin barely got any play with the 1st lineup.

Because Kobe did not practice a lot, Lin barely got time to mesh with him.

Out of his prime Kobe is a similar player to Melo or Harden from 2 seasons ago.

The team that figures out how to utilize him (something Scott is FINALLY doing) will end up adding a major game changer to the team.

Whoa now I'm not calling him an all star. I think he's more than a serviceable backup, I think he's a GOOD backup, and could be 6MOY if the stars align. I think he could peak as a decent to good starting PG but I won't argue with someone who says he's not a starter, he hasn't showed yet that he is. I know the consistency hasn't been there.

But people range from saying he shouldn't be in the league to not giving him any credit when he plays well. He's been playing more than just "good" he's been playing great since the ASB.

Well , just for your info the ni99a you're in here cosigning with thinks he's a Top 5 player in this league. So who you choose to surround yourself with will send the wrong message.

You think he's good, that's great, I think he's decent. This play of his wont last, especially when real stakes are involved. He thinks too much, gets trapped while running the offense, is lost without the PnR. A lot of holes in his game and once he goes to any fan's Team, they'll get to see it first hand.

Just like they keep harping about the legions of Lin fans running rampant through ISH proclaiming that Lin > MJ. There's just three Lin fans on this entire site. Kidbasketball, myself and you. Don't bother trying to reason with these fools. Most of them are socially awkward idiots who purposely hear what they want to hear just to have something to argue about.

Just like they keep harping about the legions of Lin fans running rampant through ISH proclaiming that Lin > MJ. There's just three Lin fans on this entire site. Kidbasketball, myself and you. I think he's a good player but he's a great story. First Asian to play a guard position AND make some noise. Diversity is always a good thing. NBA fans should be supporting the dude, especially since he's a nice ****ing guy.

But whatever. The fact is people care about Lin. He's polarizing. The haters say they don't care but the fact remains.......

Rent. Free.

Does this thread mention anything about him being a top 5 player in the league? I might have made threads in the past (and it was probably top 5 PG Potential), but nothing recently saying anything like that.

Stop putting words in my mouth, especially when your info is inaccurate you ****

Funniest part is the Lin heads don't even realize B. Scott gave this kid the green light to run the offense, even when Kobe was there. Every Laker fan knows it. The dude just fuccin choked and lost his spot to Ronnie Price of all people.

Either you don't know basketball or YOU'RE LYING.

Lin didn't get ANY pick n rolls starting earlier in the season and once again did not get practice time with the 1's during training camp AT ALL.

But keep convincing yourself how Lin is the main reason they are one of the worst teams in the league. Either be delusional or just keep blatantly lying like you have been you liar.

Lakers should sign Peyton Siva to bring more of that Asian and Pacific Islander flavor.

I like his efficiency, scoring a high percentage but getting I'm some passing as well. I hope the Lakers keep developing and encouraging his game. He has a lot potential with that quickness he has.

You should get a Raymond Townsend jersey. I'm sure one of your cousins could probably even custom make it, doubt they have any in production.

Yeah I like him a bunch.. For a rookie he's doing great, he's grown into his role as the starter, shows poise.. still makes dumb mistakes but still.. he's only going to get better he has no real glaring flaws other than inexperience

not saying he's the next Westbrook but he's going to be fine
