His game hasn't declined, he is just injured.

Don't be silly. TMac's prime lasted a lot longer than Durant's did.

T-Mac is one of the biggest betas in NBA history, the fact that we can compare him and KD says it all.

KD - an MVP caliber player himself - had 2 MVP teammates, at the same time, in their prime while he was in his prime.

I wouldn't go that far. Tmac peaked so early then didn't come near that level again and i think it had more to do with work ethic than injuries.

KD can still come back and have a healthy career, but if his injuries become a long term issue he may end up more like Wade, Wade had 2 injury riddled seasons in the middle of his prime, came back hit his peak, had a few more elite years then rapidly declined afterwards.

Neither Westbrook nor Harden were MVP level when they were all playing together. Hell they arguably weren't in their primes yet (Westbrook maybe) depending on how strict your definition of prime is.

if u actually believe that, i dont think you watched alot of okc basketball in 2011/2012.

while they were all great players, especially kd and westbrook, they werent the same players as before. harden and westbrook were NOT mvp caliber players, and even KD improved alot since then. he couldnt create the type of game he does now, and his passing game was average. westbrook and mainly harden both became completely dominant over the past 2 seasons.

so gtfo with that agenda bullshit. okc had a great team, and very talented, but the 4 main players were all 22/23. and they have been contending every season, and without injuries i believe okc would have won it all in 2012-2013.

he won mvp last year, and has battled injuries this year

how does that constitute a decline?

Maybe more of a wilt, might win as a role player on a stacked team later in his career

Wait guys, let's not forget that KD and T-Mac have the same playoff resume.

Both went to the finals and lost to LeBron

Combine for 0-2 in the playoffs vs LeGawd.

Almost as bad as Wilt's playoffs record as first option :oldlol:

Injury. He's still a top 3 player in the league when healthy.

What made me laugh was when people said Durant hadn't even hit his prime/peaked yet last season.

:oldlol: at anyone thinking Durant was/is ever gonna top his 2013-14 pay.

This. Also Durant was visibly tired throughout that whole postseason run. I think he learned his lesson about all those minutes and that level of play.

Assuming he stays healthy, im sure he'll be a better overall player than that particular mvp run, but I doubt he ever reaches those numbers statistically.

Most of his posts are way above the forum average. Even his trolling is usually funny. Funnier than the constant Lebron/Kobe/MJ trolling.

He had to play at that level, just like how Westbrook has to carry the load.
