Bulls by quite a bit.

Let Kucok handle the rock and set up Kerr and Harper outside. Longley is a push with Kanter. As much as I like Ibaka, no comparrison with Rodman.

Kukoc is the equivelant of James Harden. He tips the scales for the Bulls.

Westbrook and Durant are 1a/1b. No one can call either one of them a role player with a straight face.

Jordan and Pippen are clearly Alpha and Beta. People regularly called Pippen a role player DURING the championship years.

Come on man. Pippen was a superstar.

I do believe you are older and are just trolling.

Exactly. :oldlol: at calling Pippen was a role player. The guy was a superstar who at his peak probably was the 3rd best player in the game. Saying Pippen was a role player is like someone 20 years from now calling Chris Paul a role player.

Regarding the OP, Bulls easily. They went 72-10 because they had the best player, a second top 5 player, and the GOAT coach but also because they had a great overall team. The Bulls had excellent specialists. Rodman was the best rebounder of his era, Kerr the best three pointer of his era and Kukoc the best 6th man during the 1996-1998 period. OKC does not have these advantages relative to the competition when you look at its entire roster.

People underrate the impact of good role players. Collectively if your role players consistently provide you with an edge over the opposing team that adds up in a big way. Most championship teams feature good role players who provide a comparative advantage to their teams.

Jordan and Pippen played well together. They meshed and helped each other play better...and it was made possible because Pippen deferred to Jordan.

Durant and Westbrook don't mesh. They get theirs at the expense of the other guy. One of them has to go.

Pippen played basically the same game with or without Jordan. Without Jordan he took a grand total of 1 extra shot a game. Pippen/Jordan was not a dynamic like Westbrook/Durant where Westbrook's production and type of play is vastly different in the absence of Durant. I agree they are not optimally meshing together.

If you knew Chicago Bulls you knew both Jordan and Pippen, that's as simple as it gets, not everybody thinks like Swish.
Back to OP, I'm going with the team that set record number of wins, had the best defense and Kukoc and Rodman.

Waiters will find a way to chuck the Thunder out of the game.

The Bulls without Jordan and Pippen are probably a 500 team. Id say theyd be capable of winning 42 games. The Thunder without Westbrook and Durant? Probaly 30 games.

The Bulls are better.

We have a new entry to the dumbest things we've heard on ISH.I think he meant 6th man Kukoc = then 6th man Harden in terms of impact. There's zero reason to ever compare Harden to Kukoc straight up.

Who ya got?Lamb is better than any of those Thunder guards except maybe Augustine. How he magically just lost all his minutes is beyond me. Is he sleeping with Scott Brook's daughter or something?
