Premieres tonight on ABC. Created by John Ridley (12 Years a Slave screenwriter). Looks really good and has been getting great reviews, anyone else planning on watching?

Yeah. The hook for me is it's set in my hometown so I'll give it a minute to see what's up.

So far it's kinda boring and pretty standard stuff.

I missed the first episode, but i was looking forward to the show.

I already have a guess based on the trailer i saw and what i know about american tv dramas.

the son that died was innocent, but his wife was having an affair with a shady drug dealer type. She is what caused her husbands murder and her to get raped and beaten badly. Early guess is an enemy of the guy she was ****ing attacked them to send a message to her boyfriend.

Felicity huffman and her ex husband become enemys over this. She becomes super hateful towards mexicans and is resentful that he isnt as angry.

the mexican kid the police get isnt the one who killed them and is mostly innocent, but he is connected to the killer in some other way.

First episode was good, not great. The show does look like it has a lot of promise.
