Well lately (as in his last 10 games) he's averaging 12/9/2/2/3 (yes 3 blocks per game), shooting 49% from the floor and 75% from the line.
Not sure what it takes for a rookie to impress you, but...
What's his ceiling?

Youre clearly off by more than the wide distance between your hick ass front teeth, Noel is surpassing your "celing" in his rookie season

No he's not. 82 games in a season.

He's a defensive force already, with MCW's departure he will be shooting more and making points. If the Sixers don't get another big, I could see Noel complimenting Embiid's game very well.

Clearly you never watched Noel attempt to score. I'm happy with his defensive ability and whatever garbage pts he can muster along. Heck I'll take him drawing fouls over him attempting to display offense. Noel has the offense of a 9th grader trying out for basketball the first time.

Hush. You're lowering his trade value for when we trade him for more picks.

Yeah, you guys might as well trade him for picks. Don't even bother, you know, developing him.
Sixers are developing him. I just don't think his offense will ever catch up much. I'll take the 12ppg since AS break and his FT% which is a big part of his scoring. Last month he avg nearly 5FTA and made 75% of his free throws in Feb. Kudos to Brown for working with him religiously

Hopefully Sixers draft another big man and the they trade him to the Kings for Stauskas + whatever else. Love his motor and the fact he protects the rim as well as the passing lanes.

Pretty sure it'd cost the Kings' first round pick this year + Stauskas to get him. And that's assuming the pick stays in that 6-7 range. He's coming on strongly and Stauskas has been pretty bad honestly this year, given some expectations.
Edit:
I see Hinkie driving a hard bargain if he were to trade Noel over the summer. Being an effective defender so quickly with seemingly a good amount to still grow is very rare. If a trade somehow gave him a chance to get 2 top 4 picks, I could see him making a deal potentially.

I have a feeling he'll one day lead the league in steals and blocks. If he focuses on just defense he potentially could.
It's amazing with all these Hinkie trading for second round pick jokes circulating we acquired Noel and Saric, 2 very unique players for Jrue Holiday, a protoypical 1 legged PG. Makes me love the MCD trade for Canaan and MCW trade for the Lakers 1 rd even more.

We basically traded Jru holiday for 3 first rounders
Noel with the pelicans pick in 2013
We traded the pelicans 10th pick(Elfrid Payton) in 2014 for the 12 pick (Saric) and we got back our 2017 draft pick we got rid of in the bynum deal.
The MCW and McDaniels trades are completely understandable. Its no secret sixers are tanking and I can't wait to see what Hinkie does with that Lakers pick. Hinkies done a great job considering what the previous GM and Doug Collins left him with.

People forget NN surprisingly shot a good FT% in a short stretch of Summer League action. I remember people saying he was much improved at the time, and it didn't look like a problem going forward.
So I was actually surprised to see Noel shoot a paltry 50% plus during the early goings in the NBA regular season. So now he is back to shooting a decent percentage, and it's even translating to some mid range jump shots his gotten lately.
I predicted it here early on. I said we would be very confident going forward by season's end on Noel and MCW's play. I was right about Noel, and only partially right about MCW. Even though Hinkie bet against MCW developing into a prime time PG, the 76ers were starting to develop something good right before MCW's trade, especially defensively.
I say Noel develops his offensive game further, and by next season is a 13/10/3/3 kind of guy nightly. He will also eventually be a yearly threat to win DPOY.

You guys acting like a player can't develop his offense, I remember Ibaka being purely a defensive player and having abosolutely no offense whatsoever until a few seasons later. Players CAN develop.
Noel tonight 17rbs 5 steals.
200-100 club is in his future. But can he be a 200-150 club member? I think he could challenge that.

bingo and it typically takes bigs years to develop. he's a rookie after all and i don't think he's beyond hopeless on the offensive side. it is true that his dexterity right now is kinda laughable though :lol he's definitely on the rudimentary level on that side of the ball.
that said, all he really needs to do is develop a jumper to complement embiid and space the floor. if he does that, we're talking about a double double machine w/ elite steals and blocks. that's seriously what i would work w/ him the most in the summer. that and a little high-low action passing the ball. sort of mimic what gasol/noah do so well. if he can start draining jumpers and have the ability to throw lobs to embiid...have fun w/ that one.
potentially the best frontcourt in the nba if embiid even comes close to the hype. embiid is a special talent, best big since davis imo so that duo could be filthy

14 points/ 10 boards/ 6 blocks last night in 30 min.
Cousins used his frame to get off with 33 points though, but Noel's presence was felt in the paint. Next season, Joel Embiid and his 270lbs will be guarding Cousins, and Noel will be our middle line backer to block shots.

Length+Explosiveness+Coordination= Stud
Lets see what wrinkle he can add to his offense to become a force on both ends. Lots of these young bouncy bigs get compared to Tyson Chandler, but even Chandler has an good elbow jumper to keep the D honest

Results>potential, just like in the workforce, experience>degree.Very few rookies have played defense as well as him, not just this season, but even historically. That was the big deal coming out of college. He wreaks havoc defensively already. His offense is so much better than it was when the season started, so people are hoping he will continue to improve on that end as well.

No way. Why on earth would the Sixers want Stauskas? He's absolutely not what they need. The Sixers are trying to put together a team that can compete for a championship within the next 4-5 years and picking up a guy like Stauskas (a nice player, but definitely not a guy with star potential or even full-time starter potential) would be going in the opposite direction.
The Sixers are in a great position to pick up either Russell or Mudiay in the upcoming draft or even sign a top shooting guard free agent during the off-season. There's no need for a guy like Stauskas.

Oladipo, Giannis, MCW, Gobert, Noel, Schroder all have all-star potential. The first 3 could be all-stars as soon as next season, the next 2 could be perennial DPOY candidates, and Schroder is gonna be one of the best all-around PGs in the game in a few years. 2013 draft is incredibly underrated. There may not be a Lebron, KD, Davis-level prospect but it could be very similar to 2011 where there are a bunch of high quality players like Kyrie, Klay, Kawhi, Butler, Vucevic, Mirotic, etc.

Since the all star break he is
1st in blocks
2nd in steals (to Kawhi Leonard)
At 2.0 blks and 1.8 steals, he has a slim chance to be the first since Gerald Wallace ('04) with 2blks/2stls.
He ranks:
3rd in defensive box plus-minus
5th in defensive win shares
7th in defensive rating
Idk what all that even means, but Marc Gasol, Deandre Jordan, and Draymond Green are the only others to be top 10 in those categories.
