Can you guys comprehend what this means? 20 years with one team, one company. This should be celebrated. :pimp:

this is how you do it:
1. get drafted(sort of) to the lakers.

2. have shaq and win 3 rings with him(he played a big role in 2 of them).

3. make shaq leave.

4. have shitty team around you for a couple of seasons.

5. go on national radio and demand a trade to chicago.

6. lakers being lakers get you good help which makes you stay.

7. several years later when you are close to retiring tweet and say in interview how you fought through adversity and stayed with 1 team for your whole career when the team's name is LA Lakers and you had only 3 seasons when you team was not a title contender until you got old.
2 of those seasons where he had bad teams were direct result of him wanting to be an alpha dog and getting shaq out of there. he would have had his chance to win "on his own" later like he did anyway because shaq was slowly getting old.

when kobe fans bitch about kobe not having enough help in 2005,06,07, they should realize that that is what kobe wanted. lakers had to walk a very narrow path of getting him multiple good or underrated players but no great player because they knew that any player close to superstar level in the league would have had an ego clash with him.

Unless Kobe learns how to adapt his game on a consistent basis, the rest of his days are gonna be as sad as they were this season.

He's basically just a gimmick at this point. For all the talk about KG's decline, Kobe's was actually much worse. At least KG was still playing basketball the way it's supposed to be played...not just chucking up shitty shots to achieve a meaningless scoring record.

Kobe has spent more time in his life as a Laker than he has as not one. That's insane.

What loyalty? Just because you don't leave doesn't automatically make you loyal.

i think John Stockton and Karl Malone should be more celebrated.

they were on a team where championships weren't a given.

and MJ always stood in their way.

this btw is the list

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NBA_players_who_have_spent_their_entire_ca reer_with_one_franchise

Tim Duncan might outlast Kobe

Loyal and Kobe in a same sentence is a joke.

He's a lucky spoiled brat that got hand picked by David Stern to be next MJ but he's never that good.
