I'm not obviously... but I wanna check the pulse to see who could be a fan of such an overrated player

I am only a fan of guys who play defense.

Westbrook, George, Davis, Duncan, Leonard, etc.

No, him and Lillard are probably the 2 most overrated players in the league right now.

Yes

What's up with Wiggins tho? Have you reached the "overrated" stage with him or are you still going on about the bust shit?

I didn't like Kyrie very much going into the season but he's been great to watch this year. He's had a great stroke from deep, he's got great handles, he's been finishing well at the rim, he's been generally exciting to watch this season. He's far from being my favorite player but I still consider myself a fan.

I don't like him but I appreciate his game. I've seldom seen a guy being able to get his shot up in the paint with either hand with such ease. The guy has series game.

No. He's a great young player, and can be very exciting to watch. I'm not really a fan of his play style though.

I'm not sure there is anyone in the league that is better at doing layups :lol

I've never really seen anyone better at estimating how much spin to put on a ball for a layup than kyrie. He can finish at the rim at pretty much the same level as MVP rose without having a 40 vert

yup. once the playoffs hit they are gonna need that closer who can take over games and be comfortable taking, and making tough shots.

not a slight against lebron I just think at this stage of his career he basically needs to hand over the reigns to kyrie in that regard, much like wade did with lebron after 2011. this is one of the main things I will base lebrons legacy off of, moving forward, will be how he transitions from being the best player in the game to being an aging star.... mentally is he okay with someone else getting the bulk of the attention as long as it means championships are won?

True, Kyrie's experience in this area will be much needed.

I edited that post to explain my stance a little more but regardless there's experience that takes you so far and then there's guys who just know how to put the ball in the hoop.

I trust LeBron in the clutch to a degree but with his turnovers going up this year, and with his playstyle (he's like a bigger, stronger, harden and that can get tricky with the refs calling things differently late in big games) I don't want him with the ball in his hands over Kyrie Irving when you need a basket to either stay in or close out a game... I see too many scenarios playing out where LeBron loses the ball, creates/draws contact but doesn't get a call, dribbles the clock down too much and ends up with a bad shot or forces a role player into taking the shot, etc.... Kyrie is absolutely the better shot creator and just someone I'd much rather trust in that situation...

Doesn't mean LeBron can't be their best or most impactful player. Just means he needs to accept how good of a scorer Kyrie is.

I'm guessing this thread isn't going according to plan for OP. His bizarre obsession/hatred of Kyrie Irving -- as a supposed Cavs fan -- is odd to say the least. Then again, he's also a known troll who may just be looking for thread clicks.

Either way, he's weird.

Best ball handler, one of the best finishers/shooters in the league and is a clutch god. How can anyone not like that:biggums: ?
