The real one, not the ISH one.

It happened in 2003. I was on a cruise (Costa cruise line) with my family. Costa draws a largely European crowd; there were few Americans on board.

I was in the gym getting a token vacation workout in. A few feet down from me there was this older, muscular guy working out. He gives me a look like he's sizing me up; I think he pegged me for an American (probably by my mode of dress) and thought I'd make a fuss over him and blow his cover. I did recognize him but I did not let on. He starts a conversation and we make some small talk. I remember him saying he was happy that they'd be serving both steak and lobster at dinner that night.

At first I wasn't sure if it was him (after all, he was around 50 at the time, well past his wrestling peak), but once he started talking in that low growl voice of his, it was unmistakable. He was around 5'10" and muscular, but not excessively so, not unlike a muscular guy at your local gym.

I think he chose Costa because he would be less likely to get recognized, hence why he seemed annoyed to see another American in the gym with him.

Anyway, just thought I'd share my cool story, bro.

Him and Razor Ramon cracked me up as a kid.

Used to love watching for them two and old school Undertaker with the hair over his face.

How was the gym on the cruise by the way? I just went on one recently and was pleasantly surprised by the facilities. No bench press or power rack, but dumbbells going all the way up to 90lbs, so I actually got a few decent workouts in while on board.

^As I remember it, it was decent. Plenty of dumbbells and machines. No barbells. Can't be doing heavy deads and sink the ship. :oldlol: Enough for a decent workout though.

Our dumbass brains work the same way. :oldlol:

First thing I thought while working out... I wonder if someone deadlifted 500lbs in here if it would break through the floor and cause some damage? :oldlol:
