He said DeAndre Jordan should win DPOY, which completely contradicts his previous notion that "rim protectors are overrated". It was another shot at Bogut.

Also, you can just tell he's bitter. He's very reluctant to give praise to Steve Kerr and the team in general.

Klay's development, Bogut being relatively healthy, a deeper bench, etc.. But yeah, Kerr is definitely a better coach though.

Alvin Gentry's offense is what took them to the next level. Steve Kerr actually listens to his assistants instead of shunning them away.

Mark Jackson was just a motivator. Steve kerr is clearly better, despite having a better cast.

It would be priceless to have Mark Jackson commentating and the Warriors win the West and eventually the Finals.

Jackson is one of the worst commentators ever, simply annoying as hell, but here's a case where I do want him to commentate, provided the Warriors win.

Mark Jackson's behavior isn't surprising. He has always been a selfish performer. He divided the Jazz locker room and convinced many players that he was better than Stockton for them despite all evidence pointing to the contrary. Mark spouts living a pious life while sleeping prostitutes. He's a con man and like most con men he is very good at being likeable. If you don't fall for his shtick it is easy to see through him

ESPN execs probably just thought their ex-coach would have deeper insights. They have no reason to hate the Warriors themselves. They should have noticed Jackson's agenda by now but they may not think that's necessarily any kind of problem.
