Yikes. In a league where everyone is seemingly buddy-buddy, that was weirdly refreshing. :oldlol:

Something tells me those two guys won't be making dinner plans together tonight.

Only in today's soft era would shit like this even be news worthy. Fools be talkin about getting bumped. In the 90's guys would get fouled hard which would be a flagrant by today's standards and no one would even talk about it after the game because it wasn't news worthy. These days, the sport is so soft, players talking about getting bumped and that's the equivalent of not having any regaurd for human life. GTFO with this weak ass shit. :lol

He's arguably the best defensive player in the NBA, is one of the best passers at his position, and brings invaluable intangibles.

lol at your stupid box score watching. Anybody who's actually watched Draymond knows he's a beast.

He's gonna get a max contract and is front runner for DPOTY. He should be feeling himself.

When the Warriors do that and they don't win it all they will be locked into being a very good team that is never quite good enough because they were smothered by 3 max deals. Good luck with that.

He's a good player but that would be like me talking sh*t after I won a game with Lebron on my team.

PER is a useless statistic lol. Wins Produced, win shares and BPM, all better predictors of wins and losses with more explanatory power, rate him as a fantastic player.

i have heard that in the 90s you could round house kick someone while they are in the air and you would not get called for even a personal foul.

is this true? did jordan average 2 free throw attempts per game?

i am asking you because you seem to be the only one who watched nba in the 90s. everyone else on this forum is in their teens and have no idea what youtube is.

Funny thing is even the box scores rate him as an awesome player -- he just isn't reading them right.

It's a mathematical formula. There is no bias. You are either efficient or you aren't. Picking and choosing which stats look good is useless.

But it is a terrible predictor of wins and losses. The whole point of a metric is to explain wins and losses, and it doesn't do that for sh!t.*that* has been proven, mathematically, beyond a shadow of a doubt. If anything you're picking and choosing. He has a slightly above average PER, but his WS/48, WP/48, and BPM all register high. That's 3/4 conventional metrics that rate him as a fantastic player....and you highlight by far the most dubious/limited one.

You also touch on his fg%....which is pretty good considering almost half of his shots are 3's, which he hits at an average rate. His 2pt% is .517 and his EFG% is .516....both very very good figures.

You seem to be a stickler for points, but forget to consider he also puts up 9.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.7 blocks per 36 minutes, all FANTASTIC numbers, to go along with an extremely low 1.7 turnovers a game. His per game averages are 11.5/8/4/1.6/1.5 complemented by world class defense. His WP/48 is .242, which is top 20, his 5.1 BPM is top 10-15 and his .166 WS/48 is top 30.

But yes, *I'm* the one that's cherry-picking.
