Westbrook has a better shot at the MVP than he does at the 4th or 5th seed

To be MVP you gotta impact both ends. Westbrook and Lebron are the only true contenders in my book. The rest don't have that impact. Westbrook is really at the top of this league as far as talent right now. Right there with Lebron. Both carrying their teams.

Yes, Russell is so good on defense that when he sits on the bench the players out there harness his defensive prowess to become a better defensive team.

No.

Okc statistically can't get higher than a 7th seed at this point, that would require several teams to fall off a cliff and that isn't happening.

There has never been an Mvp on a 7-8 seed team, and never will.
