He was on Toronto's summer league this past summer. Me and another Raptor fan were agreeing that he would be a decent back up but my main problem with him is that he was out of shape (ultimately got him cut) and was extremely foul prone.

I still wouldn't mind him right now on the team over Greg Stiemsma but he wouldn't have developed here, especially considering his attitude.

As someone who has suffered back and neck injuries and the neck injury wasn't even cause by a hard hit but also in the back like Whiteside did there, I can testify that this act by Whiteside is dangerous and he should be suspended. KO could easily have suffered neck injury there and which could have derailed his career and quality of life. Whiteside has been a bitch the last few games: with teams often putting 3 bodies on him, being extremely physical etc. he's been complaining about unwarranted contact, and getting wound up by it for a couple weeks now, expecting the refs to call something, but they do ignore a lot of incidental contact when it comes to big and powerful 7 footers.

Meh, i don't think he's been in a position for teams to try these kind of tactics against him before (dirty, subtle, irritating), as teams have recognised his short-temper and now actively work to wind him up/get in his head.
