Which is why Gerald greens dunk is nothing special. People have been dunking with their chin above rim level for years.

Not without the aid of another player.... this is a classic what i call "ricochet dunk", jumping and then using your knee/leg to ricochet up of a stationary defender, you basically climb.... this can happen also if you jump and a defender right after that jumps from under you boosting you even further up.... still looks cool, but its not really the individuals real hops lol

It's real. It's one of those rare instances where a player sort of catapults higher with the help of the defender and it looks spectacular. Just like Chambers over Jackson.
