-led the lakers in RAPM all 3 seasons
-led the lakers in RAPM prior to every finals for 3 seasons
-led the lakers in PER all 3 seasons
-led the lakers in PER prior to the finals for every 3 seasons

you cant even begin to understand how good shaq was around this time. looking back at what he did now, he is clearly the most imposing big man of the modern era. i always knew he was good, but just stare at the facts for a second here. this guy carried the lakers on his back.

Insane production. I'm not huge on RAPM, but yeah, Shaq was the best player I saw after Jordan.

best impact stat to date, adjusting for how many points better your team is with YOU ON THE COURT. shaq was THAT good brah.

i would say him and jordan are tied for greatest modern day peak. lebron is up there too.

Arguably the greatest peak player in the leagues history. Utter unstoppable dominance in the paint...

Forget the stats, just watching him live in games was something else. I remember watching some finals and feeling bad for the opposing squads. I was just like 'This shit isn't fair :( '

Don't be stupid. While Wilt wouldn't be anywhere near as good in the modern era as he was back in the 60s or whatever he would still be a big body that could stay with Shaq. Shaq would probably get 35/15, not exactly destroyed

True. Wilt would be useful for 6 good, hard fouls.

None of those guys in their prime would stop peak Shaq. What's your point?

Yet when you claim Bob Cousy is better than Dwyane Wade you completely ignored competition at the guard spot and listed irrelevant 1st team all nba #s. Nothing more than a senile old man. Shaq > Mikan, Wade > Cousy. Deal with it.

No, he would be even better. He would enjoy all the advances money and technology have provided for today's player, and there's simply NO ONE playing today even remotely capable of guarding Wilt Chamberlain. He faced FAR GREATER competition back in the 60's.
