I want Westbrook to win but realistically I think Harden will. Curry #2, Westbrook #3, LeBron #4.

Only 5 guys in the race, imo.

James Harden
Russell Westbrook
Stephen Curry
LeBron James
Anthony Davis

No order, btw.

I want either LeBron or Westbrook to win it, but I honestly think that James Harden is the most deserving. Dude has kept his team elite pretty much all by himself. He is shouldering quite the load.

Howard getting injured really helped his case, he would have no chance with Howard out there.

Hawks 5 deserve a vote. Only Curry has the same amount of wins.

Harden is the the obvious and correct choice. Dude has been carrying a bunch of scrubs to one of the best records in the NBA.

If refs call an obvious foul on Z-bo Houston wins their last game against Memphis. They win that game and Houston sits at 2nd place in the West, perhaps the toughest conference of all time.

Harden is clearly the leader in the MVP race.

I'm getting a feeling though that with the public divide and multiple guys in the running that we will get an awkward winner this year.

I remember Blake Griffin was a popular MVP choice before the season. Then Konex happened.

1. Curry
2. Harden

Nobody else has a chance. People here will be in an uproar because Curry isn't a top five player in the league or even the best PG. His team also has the best team defense in the league. Its going to be funny, so I hope he wins it like a Derrick Rose landslide in the voting.

Ok but they don't have a best player, the MVP of the Hawks if their front office.

Going by their known criteria Curry is the winner, Harden a close second.
WB and Davis played the best bb during this season though.

Do people honestly think Westbrook is going to win MVP with OKC's current rank?

He's been playing like an MVP but his team needs to be top 3 AT LEAST. This goes for AD as well.

Naturally, I would love for Westbrook to be named MVP, but unfortunately our record sucks. Steph Curry is one of my favorite players, but I think James Harden is the MVP and he would get my vote if I had one.

Only Hawks, Warriors and maybe Memphis are going 60+ which means Curry has the best chance, James Harden comes close after him.

I don't think anyone here would be in an uproar if Curry won...it's been a conversation between him and Harden for the majority of the season, with Westbrook as a recent third option and LeBron in the background.

Westbrook, Durant, LeBron, Davis, Harden? I think that there's definitely a case for Curry being a top-5 player, just spitballing possibilities.

The way the vote has historically gone you have to take Davis out.. Team record is going to hurt him

WestBrook for the same reason unless he can keep up this torrential pace and somehow they go on a big winning run AND a team or two above them in the standings stumbles to the point the Thunder end up in the 6th spot.. none of which is going to happen:lol

Right now forgetting about how the voters have voted in the past I have

Curry
WestBrook
Harden

as the top 3 players playing at MVP level

in the end it will be Curry that wins the award

Not downing Curry, 24 inch Chrome had it right - Lebron/Durant/Westbrook/AD/Harden were significantly better than the non-sense I heard when Rose won. People were bringing up the ghost of Chris Paul, Deron Williams and Rondo. I have Curry in my top five but Ish is a stat oriented world. I don't think any of the players mentioned could have done what Harden did this year. He's killing it without great shooters and finishers - like Rose did.
