Did you see how bad Portland played without him. The way they saved their season when he came back injured is what the MVP award is all about isn't it?

MVP. Most valuable player. 3rd in the Western Conference. Carrying his team to a series victory over Houston. We lost the first game playing without Aldridge.

This guy is a monster. 26 and 14 tonight and has to sit most of the third with foul trouble. Absolute beast. Doing it with one hand.:applause:

Notice how these topics of LaMarcus not being an MVP canditate almost always come up AFTER he plays Houston, lol.

Because his advanced stats suck.

He's good but 20+ points on 20+ shots isn't gonna win him the MVP.

So James Harden has no shot at MVP then right?

I don't think LMA deserves MVP, I'd vote for LeBron personally.

Yeah...he's great...he needs 20 shots to average 23 points. I have NEVER UNDERSTAND why so many think this guy is so good? He's basically a Sheed who is worse defensively, much better rebounding, but shoots a lot more. No team will ever win anything if Aldridge is your number one option. I know I can't take the Blazers seriously with Lamarcus Aldridge as their star anyway.

Because he was their 3rd, arguably 4th most effective player. :confusedshrug:

Aldridge and Lillard have the same problem as Griffin and CP3... they take credit from one another. It isn't right, but it happens.

I think Aldridge certainly deserves MVP consideration. I'd personally rank him higher than a guy like Westbrook, who seems to be the new 'hot' MVP candidate.

And if he got that calls Harden got that would be 30 PPG easy. For a guy that doesn't get a lot of calls he's great. He doesn't get owned in his match up either.

You don't understand is impact.
