Wade is playing surprisingly well an putting up crazy stats for a dude whos always crippled.
Only reason heat suck is cause of quick changes, bosh being out, and 4 years in the finals left the vets tired

I say same record, get ti the finals

They probably win it all.

You could replace LeBron with a lot of guys and they win the championship.

With most guys you don't have to worry about performance anxiety in the finals like you do with LeBron.

You gotta remember that Wade is a better overall player than LeBron and he can perform off ball better than LeBron ever could, which would maximize Kyrie Irving's effectiveness. Plus Irving's court vision is way better than LeBron's so Kevin Love would be utilized better too

I completely agree with this post.

Irving running the show with Wades off-ball game would be much better than the shit show we see now with LeBron hogging the ball, turning it over, and playing hot potato and disappearing in the corner during important moments of the game.

LeBron is infinitely more talented and is clearly the more athletic ball player... But my point stands

You were wrong about every point. Other than Wade being the better off-ball player.

And Kyrie has shown literally no ability to be able to lead a team as a #1 option. Not to say he isn't capable but he absolutely has not shown it.

So you're saying Wade is the more skilled and Fundamental Player?

They would be in the lottery now, and if LeBron was on the heat instead they would be fighting Atlanta for the #1 seed

Then why aren't the Cavs fighting Atlanta for the #1 seed?

As for the topic, Wade is having a nice season but Lebron is still arguably the best player in the game. The Cavs would obviously not be as good with Wade.

Before Bosh went out, the Heat were still doing terrible.

Wade has decent stats, but it is on a bad team that is not winning. Anyone can do this, like Dion Waiters last year for Cleveland for example.

As in if he stayed? Maybe, but with all the injuries and Bosh's health situation it would still have likely been an up and down season.

Even before Bosh was lost for the season the Heat were the most injury plagued team in the league, and had the most different starting lineups in the league by a wide margin. It's impossible to build any team cohesion with such a revolving door of injuries. The team they started the season with played like 5 games together.

What aspect of basketball is LeBron best at?

Scoring? Nope.
Playmaking? Nope.
Taking care of the basketball? Nope.
Defense? Nope.
Rebounding? Nope.
Not finding the first door to run out of when the going gets tough? Nope.

Durant's the best player but while he's out those honors can go to one of Curry, Harden, or AD.

If you polled every GM and coach in the league, Lebron would get several votes as being the best player in the game, most likely the majority.

As a Durant stan/Bron hater your opinion is irrelevant. He's never been the best at any of those aspects. He's the best combination of all of them.

Are you really suggesting that the Heat without Wade are better than the Cavs without LeBron?

It might be a ballpark comparison if the Heat's hypothetical core of Dragic/ Bosh/ Whiteside/ Deng had been together in the beginning of the year and stayed healthy.

But, Dragic has played less than a month (and already missed games), Bosh is out for the year and Whiteside has only been part of the nucleus since January.

Wade with the Cavs would have a better record than Wade with the Heat, even if he missed the same number of games, because the Heat have no one else who can consistently lead the team. The Cavs do: Kyrie (James isn't on the Cavs in this scenario).

In fact, Kyrie would most likely lead the team in scoring if Wade replaced James because Wade would focus on playmaking, although he would still be the leader and closer.
