really. kobe was pretty polarizing.
jordan was also really polarizing back in the day, before he started racking rings.
but none of them ever caused such a division like lebron.

He is kind of like a polar bear. When a polar bear has another bear try to mate with his mate he usually backs away and lets the other bear have his mate. They're known as the ultimate betas in nature. So yeah, Bron is pretty polarizing.

I think he might be. I'm not a fan of Kobe but I can still respect him and appreciate his career, I'm not sure that non-LeBron fans can do that in his case. Even the legitimate Kobe haters on this board don't seem to go after him in the way that LeBron haters do.

nope I don't think there were a lot of people that hated Jordan or Shaq, LeBron is by far the most polarizing athlete..he's like the Kanye West of athletes, you either HATE him or love him

Not a good thing at all.

Jordan was beloved by most because after he started winning. LeBron is still hated by a lot because he's a quitter/choker/ and has a disgusting personality.

I'd rather be a Aaron Rodgers, Mike Trout, or Kevin Durant. Those three don't have 'polarizing' personalities. They are just simply the best at their respective sport.

But you have some retards on here who would rather be LeBron, A-Rod, or Tiger. They gravitate to guys who get the most attention because they lack it in their lives.

Polar bears are actually among the most aggressive and dangerous of any bear on earth. If not THE most dangerous. EXPERT hunters.

Nice attempt though.

LeBron, A-Rod, and Tiger were/still the best at their sport. Rodgers, Trout, KD never really have been definitively the best. KD ain't even the best on his own team.

Rodgers and Trout are definitely the best. KD is not.

But yes, peak Tiger was one of the most dominant athletes in history. A-Rod is a 3-time MVP. Lebron has been definitely the best in his sport.

There's no correlation between polarization and being the best. Some of the best are, some aren't.

Mike Trout has been definitively the best player in baseball for 3 seasons. I don't know what else you call a historically unparalleled start to a career, he's putting up all-time great numbers.

You obviously don't know much about sports. I'm talking 2015.

LeBron, Tiger, and A-Rod still get the most attention despite not being the best anymore.

And your last sentence proves your opinion means absolutely nothing.

LeBron's whole persona leaves a lot to be desired for me. Very immature on the floor. I think anyone over the age of 30 would agree that he'll never attain the heights Jordan had.

... but as far as the league right now, he's the king. Durant needs to step it up.

I'm not sure what point you were trying to make. Other than 'I hate Lebron and love KD'. Maybe that's it.

Trout doesn't have a polarizing enough personality for that guy. If he's not on SportsCenter 24/7 then to him he's not 'definitely the best'

I guess Kershaw has a case but I excluded pitchers. Trout is definitely the best position player.

'when they were the best'

I'm talking about now. third time I've said it. I'm just saying that most people like you would rather get the most attention rather than actually being the best.

You would rather be Manziel instead of Rodgers.

Kershaw is probably the only player apart from Trout who has any kind of a case. I'd give Trout the edge considering his continued historically great production through a league wide offensive decline.

I know what you're saying kid. I get it.

You're saying there's no correlation between being polarizing an being the best. Herp derp. No shit.

You can be the best and have a polarizing personality. Ok. But Tiger was more like an MJ. Dominated his sport and was beloved by most. A-Rod was considered a choker and a mental midget, much like LeBron.

It's bad to be polarizing in the way LeBron and A-Rod are. They are more of an embarrassment than anything.

Kobe raped a girl and Tiger cheated on his wife with multiple woman and I still think they're more respected than LeBron.

I was just throwing out names to begin with. My original point was that people like you will always gravitate to guys who get the most attention no matter how washed up they are. Hence why you're a fan of LeBron and still think he's the best.

People like me??? You have no idea what I think, and who I actually think is the best player in the world

Your opinion on Bran is as worthless as JT, dubeta, etc.

You're a better troll obviously but your opinions on the subject mean about the same. Just the other side of the spectrum. Don't act like what you say about Lebron should be taken seriously. Not that you're wrong about certain things, but you can poke holes at literally anything and anyone if you hate it/them as much as you seem to hate Bron.

:confusedshrug:

The ad hominems based on nothing are hilarious though. Keep em comin.

You're still waiting on that Tiger comeback. LeBron is still the best!

Come on A-Rod.... I STILL BELIEVE IN YOU!

:oldlol:

Give it up man. Let it go. LeBron isn't the best anymore. Hell, IMHO.. Durant was the best in 2012. 2011? Could've been anyone. 2010 Kobe still had a big argument.

Was LeBron ever actually the best? Maybe. But is he now? Absolutely not.

But we can agree to disagree.

Of course I want a Tiger comeback. He's the only thing that made golf interesting IMO.

I've always hated A-Rod. One of the smoothest right-handed swings I've ever seen, but my god. I'm a diehard Braves fan. F*** the Yankees and everyone who's ever played for them except Rivera. Respect the hell out of him.

Bron has as strong of an argument at the moment as Kobe did in 2010. Especially since Bron still almost always gives it to Durant head-to-head.

Not gonna change your opinion though so yea we can agree to disagree.

back to OP, Kobe for one example.. Lebron is not really polarizing, people just like to make fun of him whereas Kobe as an example is/was truly hated.. Lebron is actually kind of boring when you think about it
