This will be the 2nd PBC event (first on Spike TV.) Spike TV will be the major cable outlet for PBC. Let's see it it grows from it's first showing just last week on NBC.

Two decent match-ups to kick it off (possibility of the the Porter-Garcia match being canceled.)

PBC on Spike TV
Andre Berto [#6 WBA] vs. Josesito Lopez [#7 WBA]
Shawn Porter [#6 IBF] vs. Roberto Garcia

If Porter-Garica gets called off, replacement match-ups include:
Karim Mayfield taking over for Garcia or, once of the following two matches

Chris Arreola [#14 WBC] vs. Curtis Harper
Miguel Vasquez [#6 IBF] vs. Jerry Belmontes

Garcia would have been knocked out fairly quickly anyway. Mayfield might even be a better match-up.

The Berto and Porter fight should be entertaining. Is this Porter's first fight since his loss?

In the biggest fight of his career, Roberto Garcia comes in well over 4 lbs above the weight limit and is off the Spike TV card. Erik Boone will replace him.

Garcia will be back to undercard fights on ESPN2 now.

I just looked at it again. He got knocked right back down so I can see what the ref was looking at.

I thought it was a fun card. Even better than the NBC card in terms of entertainment. The Arreola fight was actually a nice scrap. Just two fat guys throwing bombs lol. Maybe an early stoppage in the main event but doesn't matter, these two will be nothing more than gate keepers. Josito was winning those early rounds though then got caught. That's boxing for you

"no more"? he got right back up. he was still recovering from the first knock down and got hit just one time (towards the back of his head) before popping right back up and stunned that the ref stopped the fight. He didnt look dazed at all. Perhaps if he was taking a beating in the fight you could argue he had enough, but he was probably winning the fight
