Now that it's established that kyrie is a legitimate candidate to win the FMVP and the cavs the clear favorites to win the east, my question is how will lebron perform if kyrie does a 2011 dwyane wade and becomes the early favorite to win the FMVP in the championship series?

To be honest, no. He would rather chuck his team out of the series than see someone else win the FMVP

:biggums:

You got him confused with Kobe.

Lebron will stand in the corner and let Kyrie work.

2004 kobe and lebron are not the same person.

Let's allow Kyrie to play his first playoff game before we prematurely predict future LBJ sabotages. Incredible performance tonight and he's grown a lot this year. Remember he asked if a tight game first 10 days into the year was "how a playoff game felt"?

It's actually a valid question. I think there is a really good chance SA comes out of the west and they really shouldn't be playing through LeBron when the best wing defender in years is on him and a sieve like TP is on Kyrie. But the Cavs were running all their late sets through Kyrie so it's pretty evident LBJ isn't going to pull a 04Kobe

I agree.. Kobe tried his hardest to chuck away 2010 finals but Pau wouldn't let him... It would scuk if Kyrie deserved the MVP yet Lebron gets it if they win a title... Pau was robbed in 2010 Finals MVP.. :facepalm

I don't know but what I saw from him vs Boston and even in 2011 when Wade was going off anything is possible with him.

But, he might pull a 2011 LeBron and tank the series.

You kids gotta make up your mind whether Bran's beta or alpha :facepalm

If he's beta he'd allow Kyrie to win FMVP, if he's alpha nah

It depends. Will he disappear in 4th quarters purposefully or naturally?

If the Cavs play through LeBron it would be a great thing for Kyrie to avg 18/7/7 on 47%. Likewise, if they really did play through Kyrie it would make sense for LeBron to avg support #s.

if kyrie plays like that consistently he will give lebron a run for fmvp. Lebron will always bring the goods, kyrie needs to as well.
