I'm trying to recall some...

Only one I can think of that was as good or better than tonight's is T-Mac's 13 pts in 35 seconds.

What are some other all time great regular season games? Preferably close games down the stretch with crazy clutch shots like the one tonight.

Spurs at it again. They have the best games in the clutch.

I'd probably rank the Spurs Grizz game from earlier this year above this one. That one was so up and down. Two or three times you would think the game is over and then the other team mounts a comeback. Then they trade baskets at the end. Good shit.

And for trading baskets: two obvious ones are the Rockets-Blazers game where Roy hit the buzzer beater and the Rockets-Mavs game where Dirk and TMac both went about 50+ and dueled into OT. The latter is definitely one of my favorite games ever. It's the only NBA game I have on my hdd.

Upon further consideration, the matchup between Melo and LeBron several years ago. That was an amazing game.

Just this year too.

thought the Raps would win with like 50 seconds to go, down by EIGHT. Durant casually hits em with a game winner.

Just a few that came to mind.

I remember watching the first game. Great game, but I don't consider it as historic as the game tonight, mostly because of Kyrie's individual historic performance. Lillard was cold blooded as **** though :applause:

That's a beast game by Durant. Somehow don't think I saw the highlights before

There's plenty of them.

Orlando vs Golden Stats around 3 years ago was unbelievable. There were a few double OT's just as good as this one. Seattle vs Phoenix the same night Kobe dropped 81. The Brandon Roy shot game is up there.

I'm sure there are dozens I don't remember off hand but this doesn't strike me as one of the most entertaining games "of all time"...it was definitely awesome though.

Lakers down 49 - 63 at the half

Kobe scores 55 points in 23 minutes in the 2nd half and they win by 18 points

GOAT.

or we can go with Kobe outscoring a 60-win Finals team led by prime Dirk through 3 quarters

funny thing about that game is that people always say all he did was score in that game, but he still grabbed 6 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assist, and 1 block. Those are pretty much his season avgs except 2 assist. That was an great all-around effort and an amazing scoring display by Kobe.

Assists don't matter, it was just give the ball to Kobe and let him bring home the W.

How many 50 point games goes the "GOAT" have in the Playoffs?

The 2 OT game vs the Bulls, where Wade hit the GW, the one vs the Pacers, where LeBron took the team to OT and Wade won the game, and the 2005 Jazz game in which Wade scored 45+.

EDIT: Can someone post the 4th Q + OT leading scorers since 2003?

A double OT game between the Suns and the Mavs, when Nash and Dirk were in their prime.... lots of thrills and crazy stats. Amare with 41 pts, and Nash scored 10 pts in the final minute to come back from a 16 pt deficit.

Read the title brah.

And yeah, Kobe doesn't chuck that much in the POs, he plays a more all-around game, but consider this:

b2b 45+pt/10+ reb games in 01 POs
50-pt game against the Suns
15 games of 30+ points (4 40+ games) out of 23 for his 09 championship run
34/7/8 on 52/43/88 shooting in the 2010 WCF
In his last Playoff game, he dropped 42

Anthony is literally the dumbest basketball player ever. Dude is/was one the most skilled players to ever play in the NBA. He could've gone down as the GOAT scorer, if he had Kobe/MJ/LeBron/etc. work ethic.

You do know that Kobe has only 20 more 30+ games than LeBron, right? He played 62 more Playoff games than LeBron, BTW. Yeah, he's not the GOAT.

BTW,

RS - 19.6 FGA @ 55.3% TS
PO - 20.5 FGA @ 54.1% TS

RS - 4.8 APG
PO - 4.7 APG

RS - 5.3 RPG
PO - 5.1 RPG

RS - 1.5 SPG
PO - 1.4 SPG

RS - 0.5 BPG
PO - 0.7 BPG

Yeah, you were saying?

JR is way worse. Dude has no reason to not be a perennial all-star player. He has everything from a skill standpoint going for him and his athleticism has always been top tier.

The ending to that is near the top for me. Miami doesn't even have the ball until 3.8 seconds left in the game coming off a steal and then Wade hits his running 3. Peak Wade was a beast.

Anyone remember that game where Milsap (back in Utah) was absolutely unconscious against... I want to say OKC? He and Durant were going at it clutch shot after clutch shot. I think Durant hit a really deep 3 in the final moments.

Or how about VC's return to Toronto? Hits an absurd 3 around midcourt to tie the game at in regulation and then a reverse alley out of the inbounds to win the game. Has the VC-Raptors backstory to boot.

Dude was one of the fastest players ever and crafty AF. No wonder people call him (or rather used to) Flash. Him and Kobe were literally the most exciting players of the '00's.

i remember a double OT thriller between the new jersey nets and the suns in 2006

Nash hit a 3 in regulation to tie it
Kidd hit a 3 in OT to tie it

nash had 42
Marion had 33
jason kidd had a triple double
VC had 31

Final score was 161-157
