At the same age Wade was at 24/7/5/2/1 48% FG leading his team to a 59-23 record averaging 28/7/5 in the playoffs up 3-2 vs the Pistons in the EFC before his rib injury.

My point being, I see Prime Kyrie at 26/6/4/2 Range, but that still won't be prime Wade.

Irving is probably a better fit next to Lebron than a past prime Wade, but I think people tend to forget how great Lebron and prime Wade were together. They could overwhelm opponents in a way that I don't think the Lebron/Irving duo will ever be capable of, and they did it on both ends. Prime Wade in place of Irving on this Cavs team would be devastating, "fit" be damned.

let us remember that Wade despite being short for a SG (still 6'3 barefoot and has a crazy 6'11 wingspan which negates any lack of height in reality) is still just quite simply bigger than Kyrie whilst being far more athletic and in my opinion the far craftier player who is renowned for his amazing shot blocking ability. Im my opinion, for the most part PG's can only be so effective in the overall scheme of basketball, its a tall mans game at the end of the day.

Kyrie will go off for some crazy games in his career, but he will never have the overall impact on the floor like a prime D wade. He will never be able to lead a team to a ring without other stars around him simply because PG's are too short too consistently dominate basketball, this has been proven time and time again. The only time this has occurred is when AI (who was essentially a SG I guess but shorter than most PG's) was playing, and furthermore shows how ludicrous the Kyrie vs AI comparison is too.

Remember first and foremost, PG's are supposed to assist. Just because a PG goes off for many points in a night doesn't magically mean any team he is put on is for the better. Its not his job to score so many points. He needs to become a better point guard than a scorer which hopefully will happen but his all around game is just not upto scratch to warrant these comparisons.

edit: don't get me wrong yesterdays game was amazing, he is talented as phuck and literally won the game. I just think its a fallacy that a team can rely on a point guard to consistently dominate in such a way, which people on here clearly expect him too.

Kyrie is good, but he can be streaky at times and he takes a lot of shots. Dwade is an extremely efficient scorer and his shot selection is great, he is a much bigger and stronger finisher than kyrie and he has been consistent at closing games. Prime wade was unstoppable, young kyrie is great but not at that level yet.
