Its gonna happen.
Cleveland's two biggest games this year were by Kyrie Irving.
Steph has been mediocre down the stretch and Kerr is gonna start resting him.
OKC is too low in the standings for Russ to win.
That leaves us with the beard.
Can't say I am a fan, but hey is does get to the line.
That is what happens when the top talent in the league cannot separate themselves.
Soon I guess Anthony Davis will, but not this year.

0-4 vs Curry, he can never win. Proof, Steph still #1 in the MVP race, LeBron is second, Harden is 3rd.
LeBron just by being on the floor for the Cavs, is by default MVP. Look Harden, leaves OKC they still reached the WCF 2x.
LeBron leaves Miami and they are fighting for their lives. (out of the playoffs picture) Cleveland did not reach the playoff before getting LeBron back. (They are making the playoffs for sure this year).
:confusedshrug:
It's either Steph or LeBron at this point.

Honestly, I won't really care if Harden misses out on the MVP. Him and the Rockets having a successful run in the playoffs is much more important to me. That's truly all I care about.

Rockets are hanging to a top 4 seed by the skin of their teeth and they can easily fall just like Harden's MVP case. Curry is still the favorite and I'd be incredibly surprised to see him not win it. I feel like they decided this a while ago and with the Warriors record and his great stats, he'll get the MVP.
Nobody will be salty at all.

They could realistically drop to the 6th seed by the end of the season, they're only 2.5 games above the 7th seed. SA is rising, as is LA with Blake coming back tomorrow or Tuesday. Dallas I don't see making a run, NO/OKC obviously not.
Dwight didn't get it in 2011 as the 4th seed and as a better player, same goes for CP3 in 2008. Harden is just not winning MVP if they're the 5th or 6th seed. It's not happening. The only way it happens at that seed is if Curry, Lebron, Westbrook, and the Hawks starting 5 all die in the next week.

Rather Harden than Steph

Well split voting is likely to occur if it gets close. Wouldnt be totaally shocked if Harden or Lebron or Westbrook get the MVP despite Curry leading in first place votes or something.
