Kevin Durant went through a portion of practice, according to Brooks and played some 3-on-3.
He won't be able to play against the Bulls and Dallas, don't need him against the Celtics, so ideally he'd be ready to play come the ATL game.

Mar 15 vs. CHI
Mar 16 @ DAL
Mar 18 vs. BOS
Mar 20 vs. ATL
Mar 22 vs. MIA

Not needing him vs the Celtics is more of a reason to have him there.

..don't need him against the Celtics...

Celtics are 13-6 in the last month and a half. They aren't tanking and have been way better without Rondo and Green. Don't sleep on them, my dude.

I'd be happy if Durant was ready to go for the Celtics game, OKC is a better team since the last trade, so I feel confident about playing home against the C's who are 12-20 on the road.

Fleeced Billy King and turned Rondo, Green, and a big TPE into 2 firsts, (likely) 3 seconds I think, IT, Crowder, Zeller, and cap relief. I'm probably forgetting some stuff too.

Stevens is working all these pieces together, too. Such a great hire.

Kevin Durant (foot) will not play against the Celtics on Wednesday.
He's getting closer to a return and it could happen this week. Coach Scott Brooks wants KD to have a full practice first, which could happen on Thursday. Durant has been doing some limited work in practice and we would consider him to be questionable for Friday against the Hawks.
Update.

Update: He won't make the ATL game either...

Kevin Durant did not practice on Thursday due to soreness in his right foot, and he will not play Friday vs. the Hawks.
Scott Brooks downplayed Durant's absence from Thursday's practice, saying that soreness in his foot is to be expected, but at this point there's no telling when or if Durant will be able to return this season. Foot injuries are very tricky, and Brooks described Durant's rehab as "peaks and valleys," so we'll be considering him on the doubtful side of questionable for Sunday's game against Miami.

does this make you feel better? Durant is still out, and the thunder are on the brink of a collapse. Feel free to output your tantrums on the board.

Well I have no way of knowing for sure, but NBA teams mostly don't put adequate effort into injury prevention and also lack good medical staff and injury treatment facilities. A lot of coaches rush their players back, mostly due to bad counsel or lack of one, you see players getting injured because they don't stretch and warm up before games. I remember hearing rumors that Rose never even stretched before playing and docs thought it had a lot to do with his injury. I believe a lot of, at least mild injuries, could be prevented if teams started implementing injury prevention policies and had players educated, develop healthy habits.
