What does the SEC have to do with anything? btw I was calling them overrated all year long. Said so in the cfb thread. When your Ole Miss and Miss St's start playing at the level of Bama and LSU, it's because Bama and LSU are down, not the second tier teams have raised to the elite level.

How else should you judge the conference? Early games in the year when teams are rusty out of summer or during the conference play when a bunch of average teams are beating up on each other, perpetuating the strength of the conference? You show up in the bowl games (and NCAAT for basketball) and the Big 12 didn't in December/January and aren't right now.

That I agree with. Their size should allow them to do a little, especially on defense where they both do a decent job of moving their feet.

But on offense, neither will be productive unless they can consistently hit an outside shot. Theyre missing that explosive first step.

Down nine against Dayton IN OHIO. (essentially a home game for Dayton) and managed to come back and win HANDILY.

WOW!

One of the most insirational teams in basketball history. Oklahoma advances to the Sweet 16 and will be going up against TOM IZZO and the Michigan State Spartans. Talk about a tough draw. But they have a great shot at advancing to the elite 8.
