To be fair, Kyrie didn't have to deliver 30 milk crates per day in the off-season like Cooz, handles be damned.

Im not really pro Cousy in most Cousy vs ___ discussions...and have had many in the last few years....offended a lot of people with the truth...upset some who find said truths disrespectful...

But I still have to say hes a much better ball handler than that overused GIF indicates.

Ive seen him out on the playground in old documentaries just messing around with some kids and doing tricks...hes got a pretty tight handle it just doesnt look modern for obvious reasons. But you wouldnt just walk up and rip Bob Cousy.

He did manage to maneuver around and keep his handles against some guys with impressive physical abilities.

Ive played old guys who played college ball in the early 70s. They look funny...but you dont just take the ball. And they were no Bob Cousy.

:applause: All trolling aside, it's almost like some people make the most of their knowledge, experience and abilities for the time they have on this M-coil.

He also carried after the first behind the back when he pulled the ball away from Durant.

It's easy to make fun of the silly dribbling they do in old videos but that's how they were REQUIRED to dribble. It's easy to look like a bALLa wiT MaD h@ndle$ when the league sanctions carries and traveling for the sake of game aesthetics, but that was not an option for players in the 60s.

Let's be honest that spin move and most of its variations involve a carry. He also carried getting by Durant. No doubt that Kyrie's handles are probably way better tho but there is a carry in every possession in the NBA.

n the stiff arm.

Handles are about, as kblaze said, not getting ripped... and getting somewhere with the ball. I find that gif to be mildly impressive. He definitely made it out of a tough spot. If anything, it's bad D. No fault of his. He made something out of what should have been nothing.

Was watching some shit and he even said, "Now every kid on the playground is doing shit I was doing." I think he's a lot better at ball than people think. He wouldn't be revered if he wasn't. People know whats up... if everyone is like ohhh when dude comes into your practice at age 80 or whatever, then you have to assume he was probably a good player.

shit like this lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gDLsZlLEPw I dunno, I don't mind dude. STOP HATN.

this, basketball could never have reached its swag levels today without some leniency in the rules. Back in the day they legit had to dribble like dorks, nowadays you see players carry even when doing basic dribbling down the court because it simply is never called
