gotta go w/ Duncan from that list. I don't think he's the best player of them, necessarily, but in terms of HoF career it's no contest.

Duncan is the best/most deserving player there.

If I had to pick their induction order, my picks would go:

1) Duncan
2) LeBron
3) Kobe
4) Wade/Garnett
5) Garnett/Wade
6) Nash
7) Dirk
8) Durant

Obviously every one of those guys are/were great players and there's no doubt each one of them has a legitimate chance to make the Hall. If I had just one vote, I'd pick Tim Duncan. He's been to the playoffs EVERY year since being selected #1 in '97. He has 5 rings, 2 MVPs and his consistency has been just amazing.

My next two picks would be Kobe, then LeBron.

Lebron... biggest combination of fmvp and mvps, plus best statistical player... been consensus best player in the league for longer than any of others. Only challenger would be Duncan based on longevity and FMVPs

Durant, easily.

Why not just ask who has had the best career? Isn't that basically the question being posed? They're all obviously hall of famers. To answer the question though, I'd have to say Duncan.

Duncan
Kobe

The rest

Orlando Magic

Who had the best career? Duncan.
Who was the best player on that list at their peak? LeBron / Duncan. Probably Duncan.
Who was the most famous player on that list? LeBron / Kobe. Probably LeBron.

Comes down to Duncan or LeBron and anyone who doesn't have them as #1 and #2 in either order is really kidding themselves and trapped in the past.

I'd personally take Duncan because Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili are overrated pieces of shit and Duncan carried them to titles regardless. They always have been and always will be. I mean seriously... I'll never get over people thinking Manu was at any point as good as peak McGrady including idiotic posters in this thread. Gotta love ISH. lol.

Easily between Duncan or Lebron. I'd give Duncan the edge but its unfair because he has played much longer.

Nash and Kobe would be last. Worst players on the list easily.

Kobe....13th pick in the 1996 NBA draft. His own teammates (1996-97 Lakers) and coach (Dell Harris) tried to sabotage this young man's career until they realized that nothing was holding this young man back. Warrior. Gladiator. Tough as Nails player. All-Time Great.

Close between Duncan and Kobe, then a decent gap. Not in skill or real HOF credentials but since you can only pick 1.

duncan is a boring **** that nobody really cares about.

it's the basketball hall of FAME.

lebron and kobe were not only incredible basketball players, but they were/are basketball icons. far more spectacular than dunkedon.

so yeah, it's clearly between kobe and lebron.

i'm not sure. lebron is the better player, but kobe is the biggest name of the post-jordan era. very close.
