I don't personally think it's IDEAL for a child to be raised by two parents of the same sex, although I think that's better than being raised by bad parents or in a group home. In an ideal world gay couples would adopt kids that are in bad situations and put them into better ones rather than just adding more children to less than ideal circumstances.

But at the end of the day I don't think it's really something you can regulate. If someone has the money to do it, you cant really stop them. It's their own sperm, and some other volunteering woman's ovary. Not really any grounds that I can see to legally intervening.

Percentage wise I assume the number of gay couples who have surrogate children is fairly small anyway.

The irony is that Dolce & Gabbana are gay themselves so it's not like they are hating on gay people they just don't like the idea of gays having children.

I don't necessarily agree or disagree with their views(I just don't care really) but I don't think it's okay to bash them(D&G) for having an opinion on the subject just because it doesn't fit your own personal agenda. To me it's a dangerous precedent and it squashes freedom of thought and further promotes the idea of "Groupthink".

Children don't think about things like that unless someone introduces the idea to them. If all you ever knew was two male parents you would have 0 reference as a small child. A kid isn't born with a sense of having a father and mother.
