Remember when LeBron promised 5+ rings and got upstaged by Barea, Terry and Kawhi Leonard?

As I've always suspected, mike is nothing without help.
Duncan is a far superior winner than jordan. Doesn't need Scottie "50 greatest player of all time" Pippen to win rings.

Jordan's teams in the 80s were garbage compared to other 80s NBA teams. Jordan's second and third options during that era was Charles Oakley, and a high flying crackhead. Bulls had George Gervin too, but Gervin and Jordan didn't get along with each other, and Doug Collins put him in the dogghouse because of that. I think George Gervin had problems accepting the fact that Michael Jordan was the star of the team. george felt like he was the veteran of the team, and young Mike was stealing all of his shine, and playing time. i read an article in Slam magazine awhile back, and Jordan stated that he didn't get along well with most of the veteran players on his team when he was in his early 20s
Well yea... its not a coincidence, its a team game, the biggest "winners" ever are products of the most stacked teams in NBA history.... "the greatest winner ever" (Bill Russell) had by far the most stacked team ever, as much credit he gets he was just barely a 3rd option offensively, many seasons not even that....

In all seriousness, it really should be ability first, surrounding factors second.
Jordan played on plenty of great teams, but almost all tangible data says he's the greatest player ever...and unless you're a troll, you should be able to see that by watching him.
If it's just 'help', Hakeem is clearly the GOAT and Magic isn't even in the top 20. :confusedshrug:

Does that mean you agree that LeBron is a choker Dragic4Life? I mean if dubeta refers to Kobe/Duncan/MJ as chokers and their rings as miracles surely LeBron getting 10 would be quite the miracle, and in the words of dubeta, Pop and Phil CAN get chokers to win :coleman:

If lebron mentality, clutchness, scoring and the intangible ability to lead a stacked team exert its full potential(which lebron failed with heat) as good as MJ, then maybe yes.

all those guys were well past their prime.
lebron's the one that keeps jumping ship...forming these teams with players that are in their CURRENT prime. Big difference.
and lebron's basically just a punk azz bich. I'm taking my talents to south beach. check my stats. western conference road trip? I need two weeks off.

non of those teams had 2 top 3 players playing on the same team together. Look at 2011 Heat. Wade and Lebron top 3 players/MVP candidates. Bosh a top 10 player. Wade played like the best player in the league in the finals, Bosh a top 5 player in the league in the finals. Lebron played like a choker.

Ni99a, compared to Lebron's colluding these Teams are a ****ing sideshow to keep Laker fans entertained on the down slope of championship runs. Your ***** ass idol literally plays franchise mode on 2k. Bitch ni99a creates his own rosters.
And only 2/5 at that, how many players in the Top 10 would be only be 2/5 in the Finals after tailor making at least two squads. Colluding with players in their prime, not declining, as soon as Wade showed signs of decline, pussyboy ran for the hills and hopped on that Irving dick. :lol
Now his ho ass gets waxed whenever they go head to head. He shook.

Not true. Phil Jackson did not become head coach until 1990. Jordan won three series in 1988 and 1989 and reached the ECF in 89 under Doug Collins. Phil was an assistant coach, but Collins was the undisputed driving influence as far as coaching goes, until Phil took over in 1990.
