Durant is the best player in the world and Westbrook may be able to put up crazy stats against weaker teams and win, but that BS doesn't fly against the good teams. Durant is a FAR superior half court player, and that's really really Important in the playoffs.

Westbrook does all sorts of blow-your-mind crazy stuff to get buckets....but Durant is just effortless in his scoring and I think that really turns people off of him. Once the ball is in Durant's hands I never think "wow that was hard/difficult!" I just marvel at the amount of coordination that a guy his size has. He's not really guardable once he has the ball. That leads to his fabulous consistency. Westbrook is the more entertaining player solely for the fact that he does 3-5 things a night that don't seem possible. Everything Durant does just is smooth and precise, so you get the opposite effect. When a 7' guy has multiple different ways to get an open shot on any defender with ease, you just expect everything to go in (cue "But but but...midget CP3 guarded him in the playoffs". He failed when they threw him that curve ball, but I don't see it happening again)
