It's interesting that some teams with cap space could essentially get some assets for taking on the deals of David Lee or Iguodala.

Iggy is here to stay. He means too much to the team. The Warriors owner says he doesn't give a shit about going into the luxury tax.

But yeah, Lee is definitely getting traded. He's a really nice guy and still a decent player, but he's totally expendable at this point.

From 2nd round draft pick to a near max player on a title contending team. Living the dream :applause:

Guys like Batum, Draymond, etc aren't max players IMO, but in the current NBA climate they will be paid like so.

I'm glad though I want us to keep Draymond at all costs.

Hes not a max player but we need to keep him. Perhaps we can trade David Lee in the offseason since he is going to be a expiring contract.

It's a good move... although if somehow the Spurs don't sign Kawhi Leonard to the max, the Warriors should sign him instead.

Yes and the Warriors would rather have Durant.

In general, Dray isn't a max caliber player. If he gets the max, then SEVERAL PLAYERS will think they deserve the max. But i guess for GS he means that much to them. But to be frank, I've always thought the max should be for the best of the best. Guys who are threat to be a consistent All NBA guy year after year. Dray has made strides but he isn't on that level yet. But he's for sure one of the best ALL AROUND forwards in basketball. I will give Dray props for that. He's a jack of all trades.
