The league is so frikkin boring now that Kobe is gone, when he was here you could always find ways to hate him for chuching, choking, and sucking. But now there's no one to hate.

My troll game has fallen off just like Kobe's field goal %.

you should switch sides.. lebron always finds a way to shit himself. even when he wins he loses through lockouts and bailouts

with kobe it went

1997 - neutral ( bench warmer - no pressure )
1998 - neutral ( 6th man - no pressure )
1999 - neutral ( lockout - title means nothing anyway )
2000 - success
2001 - success
2002 - success
2003 - neutral ( injury )
2004 - first failure
2005 - neutral ( rebuilding/injured )
2006 - neutral ( no expectations with kwame/smush )
2007 - neutral ( no expectations with kwame/smush )
2008 - failure
2009 - success
2010 - success
2011 - neutral ( knee surgery after injury )
2012 - neutral ( team mates injured )
2013 - neutral ( team mates injured/torn achilles )
2014 - neutral ( basically retired/broken leg )
2015 - neutral ( basically retired/torn shoulder )

so the only times you could really enjoy kobes failure was 2004 and 2008

lebron on the other hand

2004 - neutral ( no expectations )
2005 - neutral ( no expectations )
2006 - neutral ( no expectations )
2007 - failure
2008 - failure ( big step back )
2009 - failure ( leagues best record )
2010 - failure ( leagues best record )
2011 - failure ( colluding, quitting )
2012 - failure ( lockout ring )
2013 - failure ( ray allen )
2014 - failure ( cramps, quit )
2015 - failure ( colluding again, balding, tampering, 2nd best player )

Don't worry about it, Kobe will be back next season to further embarrass himself and tarnish his legacy. By the end of his career dude won't have a chance at top 10 all time. Too much piggy backing, choking, and quitting to be part of such an elite group. :lol

2004 should be neutral due to rape case and shoulder/knee injuries

2008 should be neutral because Bynum and Ariza were out and they happened to run into a very stacked team that they almost took to 7 games.

Lol come on man! Kobe has the superior post game, mid range, three point shooting, ball handling and much better defender. Westbrook has attacking the basket, mindset, intensity, and will to win like Kobe. Westbrook skill and talent wise not even in same universe as Kobe, but then again I believe Kobe is most talented player to ever play the game skill wise and not physically. What set Kobe back was his IQ, freezing out teammates, shot selection and not being physically gifted athletically as say MJ, Lebron, Wilt, Shaq.

Really sucks we never got to see a real Kobe/Lebron rivalry with both of them meeting in the finals. It's literally a travesty especially given how close its been to happening.

Lol, it was close to happening once ('09), and even then the Cavs fell behind 3-1 to the Magic. That was the only time they were both even in the conference finals in the same year.

I agree 09 and 10 was the best time for it to happen. Lebron didn't have team around him and he wasn't their yet mentally.

I don't mean just close in that sense. Just think about it. Its pretty crazy that it NEVER happened. The last 8 Finals featured one of these two, but never both. They were both strong favorites to make it to the Finals at some notable point of the offseason/season in 4 of those seasons i.e. 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2013. They both had teams that were capable of making the Finals from 2007-2013. I'm not saying they should've been facing each other every single year. But given all of what I mentioned, its pretty crazy that it never happened.
