Dragic vs Lillard a nice matchup
Aldridge having a nice 1st quarter

I'm expecting a great game and an exciting finish!

Portland has no excuses if they lose this game. Heat are pretty terrible these days.

They just came off a win over the red-hot Cavs

I expect Portland to win, but this game is def not a "gimmie"

Dragic has to be one of my favorite players in the game
He was a top 5 point guard to me last year. Statisically/impact wise anyways. Even made the all nba 3rd team.

However he might not see enough of this Heat team to stay.

I feel like we're the better team but we're messing around too much. 6 missed free throws is unusual for us. We're the best free throw shooting team and that is a lot to miss.

Miami is getting so lucky lol. It's okay we do this to teams. Not worried. Just gotta take this quarter seriously. That means Stotts needs to bring back the starters at an appropriate time. If he brings them back in and Portland is down by say 5 or 6 the game is over. They won't dig out of a hold tonight.

Refs made the wrong call on that tip.

If you pass the ball inbounds and tip the ball into the backcourt without having control (which the Blazers did) you can pick the ball up in the back-court without turning the ball over, but the refs called a turnover anyway and gave the ball back to the Heat. Wrong call. Basically gave the win to the Heat.

Not to take Wade's shot away, he was clutch, Windhorst reported LeBron was watching the game in the Cavs locker room after his game and he called the Wade jump-shot before he even took it.

But the fact of the matter is the Blazers never got their fair shot at taking the lead or tying it and the refs took that away from them and basically sealed it for the Heat.

difference does it make? it's heat ball and a blazer loss regardless

are you saying it should have been blazer ball cause the refs called the incorrect violation?

also i would like a link to where in the rule book it says this, just for edification sake. it doesnt seem right to me that a player can touch the ball somewhere and the ball not be considered to be in play.

Blazers had their chances, they couldn't stop Wade. He played great.

That over and back call on the Blazers was the wrong one I believe, if it's tipped into the backcourt and you never had control you can go get it. -so they should have had a chance. But again, they had 2 chances to inbound the ball and they failed to do so.

Good win for Miami.
