It seems that, historically, these three franchises have been the richest with talent. This is a question to older NBA fans on ISH: what would be the all-time rosters for these teams? I'm looking for twelve man rosters, with identification of the starting lineups and sixth men.

Depends on how much you value the 60s.... For the Celtics all time you're probably looking at something like:
Bob Cousy/Sam Jones/Rondo
Hondo/Ray Allen
Bird/Paul Pierce
Kevin Garnett/Kevin McHale
Bill Russell/Dave Cowens/Robert Parish
Eric Cartman

Lakers:
PG:Magic/Goodrich
SG:Kobe/West
SF:Worthy/Baylor
PF:Gasol/Odom
C: Kareem/Shaq/Wilt
Eric Cartman

Damn, Lakers had some truly great players, truly legends at every position, probably the only team with legends all around.
Their weakest position was probably SG, where only Jerry West and Kobe* were notable legends

Dude when I saw "dubeta" as the most recent poster in my thread, I already knew you were going to say exactly this. That means you need to step your troll game up. Don't be so predictable.

Oops, I meant Dennis Johnson.
Havlicek did play SF, but he'd be SG size in today's league so I slid him in the SG position to make room for Pierce.

Its stupid to put magic at pg... he can run the point and guard power forwards. So re work the lineup to get the absolute best starting 5
Pg - west
Sg - kobe
Sf - baylor
Pf - magic
C - kareem
I love Odom but you can't have him over the iron man AC Green or even Kurt Rambis...
trouble with doing this with the Lakers or any other team that's been in the league since it's inception you have to leave some really good players off the list
