View Full Version : Durant leaves practice with soreness in foot.

Almost a month removed from his most recent surgery, and Durant still can't make it through practice?
The Thunder need to get this right. Even if they make the playoffs, the odds of them winning 4 playoff series without HCA are extremely low, and certainly not worth risking a franchise player like Durant.

Poor guy, too much bad karma coming from his fanbase.

At this point, is it just better to rest Durant for the rest of the season?
Foot injuries are brutal, and can **** up your entire career if not treated properly.
Thunder are the 8th seed, and even if KD returns, they will be missing Ibaka until playoffs. The team won't have time to really develop chemistry with their playoff unit. There's no way they could beat the Warriors anyway. They should consider letting KD rest and have Westbrook carry the load in the playoffs.

Stop. He'll be back.
Sit him for the season. It doesnt seem like his foot will heal properly if he plays.

Oden's looking good right now in comparison. Training at Ohio State looking better than ever. Durant is injury prone now. Maybe it was the right pick. I mean both players have been to the Finals.

Foot soreness is a big deal, fellas. I fully understand why he's still taking a few days off. Winners mentality. He's thinking long term for us. I love it.

He'd be smart just to sit the remainder of the season, don't want to end up like grant hill..
The thunder aren't going to win anything this year anyway, or any year with brooks at the helm..

Damn.. Hope he comes back healthy this season. Know a few people IRL that had the same injury. Took about a month and change to heal. OKC and gang are just being cautious obviously.

have some perspective pls, its fine to wish career ending injuries on ur opponents, I for one hope he crumbles because hes a douchebag and stuck up himself evident by his interview at the all star game "waaah waaah poor me boo hooo". Also I don't like his game its boring and sickly skinny arms.

This. If your really going to wish another person bad luck then I seriously feel sorry for you. Even when there was that Lebron vs Kobe for best player in the league thing going on I don't remember anybody being that morally bankrupt as to wish injury on someone else.

Before the All Star game he was challenging everyone to one on one's.. he ends up playing the All Star game and is average/poor.
Then he returns to the Thunder and soon after has foot surgery.
WTF was he doing with the All Star game in the first place?
If you think about the trash talking he was doing it's even worse. He should have had the surgery over the break, or to the very least sat out the All Star weekend and rested.
