Likelihood NBA players would use low-key non-official social media pages?

Like, you see their "official" pages, with millions of subscribers. What is the likelihood they use non-official pages for actual personal use? A prominent NBA player name's Google+ account just subscribed to my YouTube channel. There is already an "Official google+ page" of said NBA player with millions of subscribers. But the player name's google+ page that just subscribed has only like 24 people connected to it, one being this players real life trainer's official page/YTchannel, others being a few people claiming the kids in a posted picture (A picture of this player, with one of their kids) is their nephew and typical "can't believe he's already ___ age!" stuff and what not. This unofficial/unverified page has nothing NBA related on it. It's just family unlisted videos of them with their kids, vacationing, singing in the car and stuff. Hardly any followers, but like I said the trainer and people claiming to be family follows it. But it's still under this well-known players name I'd think if it were an NBA players alternate page they'd change the name to remain totally anonymous?... Really bizarre. You guys think it's an elaborate hoax?

Okay so this person did not take GPS data off their photo's... the photo's have a "see on google maps" option and it goes straight to a ****ing million dollar estate in the area where this player lives/plays. I think it might be them

hell i made a fake demarcus cousins facebook account a few years ago and i had hundreds of friend requests within a couple of days. people really believed it was boogie because i had some rare pictures of him posted and i was friends with john wall on there. i even got a few girls to send nudes.

I generally reach out to prominent people who've subscribed, just giving a "thanks for subscribing/following" type thing you know nothing major. In every case I've actually gotten a response back. But those are generally verified accounts, I'm only 95% sure this account is legit, still not quite 100% because like I said it's oddly low-key.
